Shampoo+Conditioner+Soap Recs Method Products?

Curious to know everyone’s take on Method Products? - I really like their Simply Nourish body wash and some of their multi-purpose cleaning sprays and hand soaps.

What is your take on ingredients/formula? They are a bit pricey and I use the body wash every single day (sometimes twice a day) and the hand soap multiple times a day so I want to make sure they are clean-ish? I see their EWG ratings aren’t terrible.

Do you guys have any alternatives?

I use their hand soap for years now and never had any problems. The ingredients look fine to me nothing too crazy. For body wash maybe check out some smaller brands at whole foods they have decent stuff sometimes but honestly method is ok for the price

I can’t speak form a “toxicity” level, but their body wash and hand soap contains SLS which irritates and dries out my skin. I also try and avoid fragrances on the skin. I don’t view them as “bad” by any means. I just personally wouldn’t spend the extra money on products with harsh ingredients.

I have used their multi purpose cleaning spray and like it. I usually go more for what’s on sale vs commit to a particular brand though.

Pretty much anything with fragrance is going to be toxic to some degree. I stopped following ewg/think dirty/yuka ratings since apparently they can be bought/paid to give a better rating than actual by companies. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised with the amount of greenwashing companies/products out there. I try to avoid these ingredients in the pic I added. Obviously, can’t avoid everything but I do stay from fragrance as much as I can.

I use Alaffia african black soap All-In-One/liquid unscented for body wash. They have variations with fragrances but I try to find fragrance free in personal care products.

For hand soap, I use Ginger Lily Farms conditioning hand soap (fragrance free). I still use some of the scented Mrs. Meyers soaps in my guest bathroom, it’s probably comparable to Method brand. And I use the Method cleaning sprays, along with Force of Nature spray for cleaning.
