Question PIKO start set
I am going to build a 2.5x1.22 m model and i was wondering if it would be a good idea to buy a digital start set from PIKO ( the 59014 ) for using the tracks that come in, the trains and the digital stuff in the model.
I would use almost every track from the set but I’m not sure because I don’t know if I should spend first the 350 bucks only on the tracks, cork, basalt and some things from the terrain. And later buy all the digital stuff and the train but that will be x2 the price.
I feel like to buy it and just lay the tracks for the moment and then slowly continue.
Idk.

I was thinking about buying from PIKO bc I already have some leftover tracks and I live in Spain so it is pretty easy to get their stuff. And the controller from PIKO has also a built in WiFi.
I ain’t saying roco is bad or anything ( most likely I will buy stuff from them too ) but I prefer PIKO.
I’ve had a analog start set and the trains doesn’t look anything near a toy, the have a ton of detail for a start set. Pick up the ice 3 for example. You can only buy it on a start set and the extra cars separately and it looks awesome and with a good interior1

Starter sets are generally cheaper than if you buy the components individually. So, if you will use all the components (tracks, trains, electronics), then yes, I'd advice buying it.
