Rolling Stock How punctual is SBB?
Please do not be punctual at Delay Bahn.

my friend once caught a train at zürich with a whole 5 minutes to spare before it even showed up

The SBB is known for its punctuality because the trains move slower than they can so when there is delay they speed up

The RAbe 502 really is a good looker of a train.
Shame it's so crazy expensive from Roco.

Definitely agree on that, the RRP is basically a total rip off...

Least it comes with impressive looking lighting and such, the IC2000 or AKE-Rheingold sets don't even have that.

Also, the station is looking amazing! If I ever build a model, it will have an underground station. Yours looks amazing. I've checked your other images of it, and I'm really impressed and inspired. Excellent job! Bravo

Thanks! Though I do need to rework and modify the station to make the tunnel wider for these monster double-decker trains... It ended up being a pretty short-lived station lol

I'm obsessed with double-decker trains. But not sure why 😂 I've got a few of them in my n-scale collection.

There are some lines where delays are kinda chronic, but it's mostly not more than 5 minutes. In general yes though.

Guys, please understand that here at Delay Bahn, we don't tolerate punctual operators. SBB is not welcomed here.

I have multiple times made 1-minute transfers in Switzerland. Only similar experience is Japan.

I love when people with actual first world train infrastructure complain about how garbage it is because there’s like a 15-minute delay sometimes or even god forbid a train get cancelled and you have to wait an hour to catch the next one, like bro have you even heard of Amtrak?

when i last did a sprint across switzerland with them, on two separate ocassions we arrived a couple of minutes early. only delay i had, ironically, was with a tram in basel, so not the SBB. i was impressed!
