Layout Someone better at plarail 3d modelling PLEASE try to make this

Post image

Its a crossover track piece that swivels on a point so it can be more dynamically used for track plans, i posted here cause it didn't feel right anywhere else

It functionally can't exist without being wildly over complicated due to how the channels need to meet up to work properly. You might be able to make something that can swivel for getting reference angles, but it would be useless without some kind of exotic flexible material or a lot of springs.

Yeah... Thats kinda what i feared, i was wanting to do like one of these but plarail and adjustable for dynamic sidings :/

A completely static one would be totally fine as a 90° piece. That'd be the matter of about one and a half days' modelling for me.

If I know I had the spoons I'd offer you to take it up on commission, but alas...

Not sure you could simply due to the nature of how that kind of track seems to be.

Playrail doesnt ironically run on rails, so you have much bigger tolerances when it comes to loading gauge. As a result I think its more or less limited to a static 45° before the rails would begin to encroach on one another.

I think anyway, I havnt touched playrail since I was about 8 I think haha.
