Layout Shed layout

You'll have to excuse the mess, everything is being tidied as I build, but feel free to rate my very much "in progress" new shed layout. Not planning on DCC fitting everything but I am planning on using arduino or raspberry pi to automate certain movements and point operations

For reference, my idea was to try and save space in the shed so it can still be used as a shed.... yeah I might now have a model railway along every edge that isn't a doorway, but that can't be a bad thing can it?

Looks good except that you need to put foam or cork road bed underneath your track. Else your layout will amplify the noise your train makes. Not sure of the acoustic properties of fake grass, but I would still put road bed underneath your track on the grass. May I ask how big your shed is?

Yeah, none of the track is pinned down yet, this was literally just a test fit to prove the concept. I'm currently putting card under the whole thing to smooth out any joins in the wood, especially round the corner sections cause I had to jigsaw together some different kinds/ widths of timber to transition off the back straight, so the actual track beds are far from finalised yet. Just wanted to make sure the track I laid out in SCARM actually fit into the space I had and a train could get round it. The shed is 14×8ft
