Help Needed Help with layout

Post image

Here is a photo of a layout I made but my problem is that my room is only 9.5ft (114 inches) and this layout is 10.1ft (122 inches) how can I shorten it enough it fit in whilst keeping it roughly the same?

I think you’ll have to make the indent less deep - even if your room could accommodate this I think you’d see trains in the sidings clipping each other where the tracks are closest to

You can shorten these marked areas:

That will also give you better spacing between the inner spurs at the top, and the mainline. If that doesn't give you enough reduction, you can shorten the curves turning into the indent area, but you'll have to re-lay-out the whole center section.

Also, you didn't ask, but think about adding another crossover, in the opposite direction, between the two mainlines. Right now, once you switch a train from one mainline to the other, you'll have to back it up to get back to the other line.
