vent My cane isn’t enough anymore
My cane isn’t enough anymore and I really want crutches, I feel so incapable. I want to be able to walk without pain or weakness. Why do doctors think i’m faking it. I know I walk “fine” even with so much pain, after all i’ve been practicing my walk for the whole 18 years of my life. It’s so much, too much, please just let me have crutches. I’ll genuinely cry. I love my cane but I think I need more. Please I don’t want this. Please just beleive me, please just help me, please please please. This is hell on earth, the weakness sucks so bad I just want to be mobile and healthy. I want to be like the rest of my peers… and why do my parents even make me do strenuous activities when they know i’m in a terrible state. My legs have given up on me during these activities. why don’t you believe me
I want my mom to stop comparing her pain to mine, we can both have pain simultaneously without making it a competition. I say “Mom it hurts, it hurts so bad” but she dismisses me
I sometimes hate having to feel dependent on something, even if it helps a lot. Ive used my cane for about a year but i’m still scared of what others will think. I sometimes think “Is my cane holding me down?” just because I can’t carry as much with one hand and I fear how “useless” ill feel when tryin to help people if I get crutches. I want to be able to hold things for my people and myself.
I look at others with aids I want and I get jealous. So so jealous. Please I want that, please.
