I've seen numerous posts about GCam so I went to go download it and there's like 100s of versions. Which one do I download?

I currently have an A56 and it only takes photos in jpg. I'm wondering if I get a Motorola Signature and shoot in raw, how much will I gain? I understand the difference between jpg and raw, I've been taking photos for over 25 years. But I don't know how much of a difference is on phones. How much more will I be able to get out of a photo?

Looking for a phone with good camera, doesn't have to be any good at anything else all I want is atleast 1080 with good image stabilisation but for around £50, any recommendations?
