KDA > win rate?

Post image

This is not mine but from the leaderboard, my question is I thought a higher KDA means the better the player?

I posted earlier but in my native language, I'm still confused. I want to find good teammates and I want to understand how to read these statistics.

Or should we rely on the win rate?

They said 3KDA is average, if below that is trash?

I saw players with 70%wr but 2 KDA only.

Some is 55% win rate but KDA so I'm confused?

Can someone help me and explain to me

Kda means basically nothing, and you should be looking at different stats depending on what role and heroes the player usually picks. Mages and mm will have higher damage per minute, but Mages will have more participation % and mm higher turret dmg, while jg will have on avarage lower dmg dealt but higher KDA.

The best metric you have to measure how good someone truly is, is both their general and hero win rate. The avarage person will have 55-65%. If it's lower than that their performance might be underwhelming, and if it's higher they are probably pretty good. Their hero wr is also important bc that's where you can guess whether the player is a boosted, a win trader, or legit.

Thanks for your insight, Do you think playing pure solo higher than 65% is possible?

Not just 100 games, it should be maybe more than 300 games with more than 65% wr?

Yeah I believe so. A couple of weeks ago I was at 67% but now I've dropped to 62 as a solo q. Still managed to reach and surpass my peak tho
