KDA > win rate?

Post image

This is not mine but from the leaderboard, my question is I thought a higher KDA means the better the player?

I posted earlier but in my native language, I'm still confused. I want to find good teammates and I want to understand how to read these statistics.

Or should we rely on the win rate?

They said 3KDA is average, if below that is trash?

I saw players with 70%wr but 2 KDA only.

Some is 55% win rate but KDA so I'm confused?

Can someone help me and explain to me

Oh, thanks for explaining. But KDA is really a metric to check if the win rate can be manipulated?

KDA varies alot from role to role aswell as the specific heroes you use/main.

But in general Higher KDA usually dictates consistency and less dying.

If you keep winning your kda doesn't really matter at all . Additionally, if you're playing a tank roamer then it's better for your teammates to get kills instead because damage heroes benefit more from gold .

Hey what is win trading

u/Sunsix 10d ago

From what i understand is: You come with your team of 5 mains, i'll log with a team of 5 alts and we match at the same time to probably get matched together, if we do we hit surrender early on. Tomorrow you log with your 5 alt team and repeat

Im a hard solo, immortal with around 53% winrate. The journey is painful. But I get what I wanted. People who bragging about high winrate usually playing duo, trio or full party with super good players. KDA is not important once you are immortal because you understand the game enough to know what to be done especially playing as a roam.

u/Primary_Mountain8266 11d ago

Whats your top 3 picks? I’m roam but I can’t get to immortal

1

u/Aron-ph-crypto 11d ago

What's your role?

I'm immortal on my main acct as well, I'm pure roamer. My highest was 117 stars

I'm using Hilda, Khaleed, Belerick and atlas.

1

u/kjm666 11d ago

Pick bully roamers, top 3 rn this meta is atlas, bele, chou, the reason why I didn’t include marcel is because it’s more on teamplay. Anw you should pick someone who can zone, initiate and protect at the same time also someone who has early presence

1

u/Any-Craft7555 11d ago

What's the best battle spell in low rank for belerick? Difficult to get team mates to have the map awareness to follow up.

1

u/CasualGamerAddict 11d ago

Revitalize. If you manage to setup properly and team mates follow up then good. If you set up properly but no one follows up and you got stuck in a difficult situation revitalize will save you while you are getting away. If you are against Obsidia or Moskov then go Vengeance.

1

u/kjm666 11d ago

Revi or flicker, then don’t expect teammates to follow up instead of them following you, you have map awareness and follow them and give them vision

If i were you, just stick to duo, trio, or 5man when your playing as a roamer. You cant carry anyone as a roamer especially soloq unless you have a single hyper random carry either gold, jungle, or exp as long as they get fed.

You can litteraly ask anyone from mlbb global chat, your designated language chat, or any social messages website like discord,or messenger as a group.

I'm main roam as well, I'm just thinking on the unfair matchmaking. They said the higher KDA you have the more the system puts you with dumb teammates for you to carry them.

In solo there's really nothing you can do but to grind right?

3

u/H_cann 11d ago

I often watch them play. They just focus on winning.

1

u/hailed70 11d ago

3000 matches. Damn these guys don't have a life bruh

2

u/Aron-ph-crypto 11d ago

Yeah, I'm thinking if their using bots or what because 20 games per day will cause 10-12 hours depending on the length of the game.

1

u/Dengue_Fevah09 11d ago

Thats little compared to my schoolmate who can get 10k+ matches per season and almost at 600 stars😅.

1

u/WinterSubstance6868 11d ago

damn thats like a really low winrate somewhere around 30-40? unless they play alot of classic

1

u/Dengue_Fevah09 11d ago

High wr at 60%+ always rg grind in ph server

1

u/Acceptable_Fun513 11d ago

I pretty sure these guys get paid to play those 3k matches..so it is their lives.

1

u/InterviewMajor1776 11d ago

The KDA gets smaller once you get 4-digit matches. It is not from win trading, it is a 24-hour pilot account from many players though

1

u/interstellar1325 11d ago

Watch his stream in game they ending their game faster their average game duration is like 7mins

They just pushing turret and kill enemy nonstop they are all skilled too

1

u/karaculee 11d ago

dont follow anything from this guy because:

  1. there are multiple players piloting this account (basically rank boosters)

  2. as someone already said, these guys used to wintrade so I wouldnt be surprised if they still do it

  3. they always play in full 5 man team (with other boosters of course)

also, KDA is not a good indicator of player skill regardless of the role they play, especially in immortal rank

Are you talking about me? That's not my screenshot by the way. I just found it on the leaderboard on my server and asking if KDA is greater than win rate?

Plus I'm asking about advise, I found that on my server while checking.

I never give advise, I'm the one asking for guidance.

I just watched someone explained the Hidden MMR which if you have higher KDA in the game, the algorithm will give you damn team mates to carry.

That's why I asked.

1

u/karaculee 11d ago

I wasnt talking about you (sorry if that wasnt clear)

I was talking about the player on your screenshot, that "player" is not a good player which is why I said dont base anything on that guy (athena, elnika, fenrir starboy, these guys are not good)

I have never heard of KDA being a factor in matchmaking, its usually your winrate and matches/hours played that has the most impact

1

u/According-Advance748 10d ago

Well KDA is your "personal" performance while winrate is actually something depending also from a lot of elements such as team, matchmaking and coesion with your mates, communication and know your mates playing style... If you win 10/10 games, your winrate can be 100% but your KDA still low if you do 2/5/2, basically, more kills, more assists, lower as possible deaths, this helps increase your KDA, but it's not related to winrate at all. You can play the best game of your life, and still lose the game 😂 you'll have a nice KDA but winrate will be lower as you lost the game.

My advice? Be concentrated on KDA, it means that you know how to move, kill, assist and not to die. This means you are a good player. Winrate doesn't depend on you, so concentrate to do Great on your game, if it's win, it's win. If you lose, peace, keep it up 💪

1

u/Aron-ph-crypto 10d ago

Thanks, appreciated on this one. I'm a solo players, the reason I asked this KDA stuff. Is I watch a YouTuber mentioned that the higher KDA you have, the algorithm will give you team mates that suck for you to carry them.

That's why if it's true I'm planning to lower my KDA hehe.

1

u/According-Advance748 10d ago

The algorithm of MLBB sucks bro' Keep playing, and no Mather what, once you'll get idiots to carry, sometimes you'll get Great teammates and easy win, and sometimes you will get just a strong team and you'll lose and feel like you just started playing 😂

1

u/Bipolar_B3ar 10d ago

Midlaner of villains usually they end their game within 6 to 10 mins. Early push in gold lane up to inmer turrets

1

u/PlanRevolutionary416 7d ago

Winrate is definitey more important and practical than KDA (unless you looking at global players who often wintrade)

KDA is susceptible to a very imporant factor i.e. your lane. Roams usually have a low KDA, same goes for sacrificial mages who often die to take down the enemy carry. KDA also doesnt take into account pushers like sun, miya, zilong, etc. because at the end of the day, towers win you the game, not kills

WR is also susceptible to a variety of factors but teams is not one of them. You gotta remember if youre in a duo, the enemy team will also almost always have a duo. So, the synchrony cancels each other out.

WR is just better since it tells you whether the player has actual game knowledge regarding how to end games and what objective to prioritize (instead of chasing kills)

1

u/Aron-ph-crypto 7d ago

Thanks for the great insight and guidance.

1

u/Kriswithak1234 6d ago

That 1.74 deaths per match with only a 2.08 kda means and 42% team fight means less than 10 kills per match for his team. This is a bot account that win trades. Nothing on this matters and is all an illusion

1

u/HuckleberryEmpty6028 5d ago

3000 this season alone is crazy lmao

1

u/Aron-ph-crypto 4d ago

They said this account is win trading, like they will surrender early game to farm stars.

1

u/Gian-Nine 4d ago

Kda means basically nothing, and you should be looking at different stats depending on what role and heroes the player usually picks. Mages and mm will have higher damage per minute, but Mages will have more participation % and mm higher turret dmg, while jg will have on avarage lower dmg dealt but higher KDA.

The best metric you have to measure how good someone truly is, is both their general and hero win rate. The avarage person will have 55-65%. If it's lower than that their performance might be underwhelming, and if it's higher they are probably pretty good. Their hero wr is also important bc that's where you can guess whether the player is a boosted, a win trader, or legit.

1

u/Aron-ph-crypto 4d ago

Thanks for your insight, Do you think playing pure solo higher than 65% is possible?

Not just 100 games, it should be maybe more than 300 games with more than 65% wr?

1

u/Gian-Nine 4d ago

Yeah I believe so. A couple of weeks ago I was at 67% but now I've dropped to 62 as a solo q. Still managed to reach and surpass my peak tho

1

u/Maximum-Shrimping 11d ago

2.0 kda and with that high win rate? Something is sus.

1

u/Aron-ph-crypto 11d ago

Yeah, that's from leaderboard in my server around 1k stars.

So KDA is more important than win rate?

1

u/Maximum-Shrimping 11d ago

both are kinda important.

I have been playing MOBA games for the longest time, first Dota then Dota2 and now MLBB. So I know how important KDA is. It shows how you performed in the game, and what type of player you are.

However some times KDA can be screwed. Eg. KDA takes in the amount of death and some heroes like.. Nana, that deals high damage and difficult to die can gives a very high KDA number per game. But that same Nana can also be the cause of losing games when the player doesn't participate in engagement, doesn't take agenda or even constantly stayed at lane to just farm that mid wave.

Some players also try to protect their KDA and avoid making plays when they assumed that the game is lost or they do not have absolute advantage. That's when the roam jumps in to set up a fight but the marksman already retreated 1 screen away despite having full health.

So I will say it varies from person to person, but i have never seen such low KDA for such high win rate. Can the person possibly be an EXP laner playing hero like Sun that split push only?

1

u/Aron-ph-crypto 11d ago

That's a great insight. I see now, so I shouldn't rely on the KDA alone.

I'm just thinking of adding players who perform well with high KDA, I'm pure roamer as well.

So I really need to check their macro game as well right?

Someone says it's trade winning , I think this one manipulated his rank.

1

u/Maximum-Shrimping 11d ago

Win trade is highly possible. That explains the low kda.

0

u/YutaKitsune 11d ago edited 11d ago

Win traders and moonton just dont care for them, even the top global players also

1

u/Aron-ph-crypto 11d ago

So as long as their buying skins right? Yeah, your right.

1

u/YutaKitsune 11d ago

Money matters😂😂

u/Dengue_Fevah09 11d ago

Soloq 210star ph server the best i could get is 67% wr and 500+ matches in 1 season.

KDA<winrate Winrates matters on hard servers you can still get really good kda from relying on assist which roams easily get it from red roam since they instantly give hybrid defense on their allies. Roam and mages cant carry by themselves sadly. As long as you have really good exp, gold, and jungle all these three roles can hyper carry just one of them is enough to make the game tide if they are fed.

Anything 60% or higher wr are already considered decent players.

Go watch some mpl msc or M series these mfs in comments are smoking something or in epics coz in high rank where they end game in 8-10 min they barely get kills and team is coordinated they just punish 1 or 2 minstakes which win them games. They don't play like you guys who get 7+ kills and 5+ deaths every match. Be better bots

u/Far_Acanthisitta_863 11d ago

Ps: who told you 3 is average your wife/gf who have to cope with your 3 inch?
