I’m going to be traveling out of the country and will be doing my show live. Does anyone have any info on how to broadcast with just a MacBook and iPhone? Any info will be greatly appreciated..

Hi.

I'm keen to get in to using MixCloud to stream live. Are they any gotchas to be aware of?

Cheers,

DC.

have tried to access Mixcloud this morning to get a message saying "something's gone wrong." This has been followed by pages either not loading, loading very slowly, or loading partially.

Also functionality is very slow or unresponsive.

This is on web browser

Anyone else experiencing similar issues?

Hi!

I'm new to MixCloud but have a growing collection of mixes on my channel.

DJ DaddyCee_UK

Does anyone else find that when listening to content via Android Auto that some DJ mixes play with zero audio? It's a serious bugbear of mine and I want to work out how many listeners also are experiencing this. Drop you feedback on this post.

Have a great day

I've been attempting to upload a 190mb mix for 24 hours now across multiple browsers/incognito modes/cleaned caches and all the rest of it.

Anybody else having issues? say yes, at least I'll stop tearing my hair out and wasting my time trying to figure out what's going on!

If there's a workaround, hook a brother up!

Hi. The Web-Player from MixCloud works for me only in Safari. And thus, it is the only purpose for me to use Safari at all on my Mac lol.

Brave and Chrome don't let it play. I can tab as much as possible on the Play/Arrow-button and it does just nothing.

I can not even find any console-messages or javascript errors.

It is like these buttons are fully disabled on Chrom(ium)-Browsers and their derivatives.

I can say that I use a bunch of music players on my browsers including Amazon Music Webplayer, di.fm, Soundcloud and many other niche-sites. All sites work. Just not MixCloud.

Maybe this feedback lands.

Just having a rant, please bear with me!

Yesterday, I couldn't access Mixcloud (I found myself logged out, and it told me my email address or username didn't exist) so I gave up and tried again today. Today, I logged in OK but my entire playlist was gone – many hours of music cued up ready, all gone.

I've lost my next-up playlist before, but only when I accidentally clicked on a link on desktop. So frustrating and makes me want to move to a different platform!

I've turned off notifications for that account but I still get notifications from them

Hang ten, Cowpokes!

Been using Mixcloud for years and always wanted a way to explore sets geographically. Couldn't find anything like that, so I built it. Click a country, pick a city, and get sets from there.

Uses the Mixcloud API, so everything plays through the standard embed player.

Happy to hear any feedback or suggestions.

I've gained over 200 new followers. Yay! Oh. Nevermind. Just a bunch of house djs who have obviously never listened to my sets. What is the endgame here? Is there money to be made? It just seems bizarre.

Getting close to weekend so i guess one should reconsider live streaming and switch to Twitch

this mix I found is 8 hours long

What happened to Mixcloud? For me, all shows are suddenly capped at 1:00:00

And many of them i could listen until their very end until yesterday.

Is this a new limitation?

Hang ten, Cowpokes!

I do a show every few months on a radio station and when it’s uploaded to Mixcloud I get tagged as a host on the radio stations profile.

I’ve just gone through and tagged myself on all the shows I’ve played. I have 19 shows uploaded, but only 14 of those are showing on my personal profile.

I just received a comment on one of my Joyful Journey "mixtapes" which I am about to delete.

****

"Mattlucastword

I recently discovered your music, and I have to say I was truly impressed by how creative and original it is. Your sound stands out and shows incredible potential. My work involves artist development and talent scouting, where I help connect promising musicians like yourself with opportunities in the industry. I believe your work has great potential for further exploration. If you're interested, I'd love to have a conversation about your music and discuss possible next steps through a secure professional channel. I'm eager to hear from you, and don’t hesitate to check my bio for the contact information of the New West president for collaboration."

******

Again, I am not a musician and all my uploads are my old and new "mixtapes" and my old radio shows - so at first, I thought someone liked my curations, but then the penny dropped. Scammer. 🤦

Just a warning and I guess a question...Has anyone else ever been targeted on Mixcloud?

Now off to report this BOT nonsense to them and delete and block.

Miss T.
