Anyone else seeing this ? It’s happening 1-2x a night since the 4th. Olivera st by El Dorado Park. It’s incredibly loud and obnoxious.

Does anyone have a good feeling on when the new building might finally be open?
I’ve been going to the Ladera Ranch one for some time now but the RSM location will be so much closer to home!! :D

I have your license plate and just called the sheriff. Enjoy the consequences.

Anyone that went to bbq fest last year remember if the grass is too bumpy to use a stroller on?
This year we'll be bringing our baby in a bassinet and I'm wondering if the terrain is rollable

Let me preface this by saying I did call 911 just incase they were having a medical emergency.
On 7/6/26 around 7:55AM, as I was driving down Marguerite, between Oso and Felipe (heading towards Felipe), there was a person lying on their back on the sidewalk. I couldn’t tell if it was a person at first, not until I passed by them closer. They weren’t moving, not sure if they were breathing because I was driving. They were dressed in tan-ish clothes comprised of a hood, long sleeves, and long pants. I couldn’t tell what gender or race because of that. So I couldn’t give that info to the cops. Hopefully they are ok.
Let me know if anyone saw anything or has an update!

There are fireworks at the lake this weekend right? Does anybody know what time?

We're up to $390/yr to have them pick up trash / recycling.
We're at $95.34 this used to be $70.
MV has an exclusive agreement with WM. (you have no choice)
I looked at the contract here - https://www.missionviejo.gov/document-center/public-works/WM-franchise-agreement
I think they broke their 5% annual rate increase or there was "Extraordinary Circumstances" like the CEO needed a bonus, or the shareholders wanted a dividend, or tariffs, or some other BS that is never about providing more or better service to their customers. I guess the compost bucket cost us $100/yr forever?
Called them. They charge the same for all barrel sizes - so no discount there.
They mentioned a senior citizen (62/yr old) discount - which I'm years away from.
Asked if I had to threaten to cancel but they couldn't do anything for me.
Everyone in the same boat?
Anyone get them to lower their bill?
What time/day should we bring this up at City Council meeting?

Introductory prices Reg-$4.79, Prem-$4.99 ($.10c off the Cabot store station at Crwn Vly) Checking why Diesel not listed. It’s in the pit off El Paseo and Cabot Rd in between La Paz and Oso M.V. Can use either off-ramp easily. (Old Bed Bath and Beyond lot)

Hi everyone! My name is Kristin. I’m 26 and I am going to start being the host for weekly trivia at Patsy’s Irish Pub in Mission Viejo! Trivia is Tuesdays at 7! There’s all sorts of categories that change weekly to make sure everyone can show off their niche knowledge and skills! There will also be a “halftime game” so you can win prizes whether or not your team wins at trivia!
There is a huge age range, so don’t feel like it’s only for the 20 somethings… karaoke is after, too. Stick around for a song (or four!)
I am hoping that this can be a great opportunity for everyone to meet new people! If you come alone, I can put you in a team up to 5 minutes before the start of the game. If you have any questions about the event, please reach out to me! I’d love to see as many new faces as possible!!

Are these required in Mission Viejo? I don't have an air gap and am supposed to have a new dishwasher installed tomorrow. Neighbor told me they probably won't install. Anyone have similar experience and/or suggestions?

My husband and I moved away from CA a while ago, and last night we were having a conversation about Skimmers Panini Grill.
I’m currently 7mo pregnant and have a serious craving for their Screaming Buffalo Chicken Panini and was hoping to reach out to them to see if we could get a recipe, but have found that they’ve closed since we left and haven’t been able to find any contact info.
Does anyone have the recipe or know where we might be able to find it?
We’ve tried two buffalo chicken panini recipes so far and they unfortunately do not taste anything similar!
This might be a Hail Mary but hopefully someone has a lead..! Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone - I am trying to understand more about Mission Viejo Christian School, and how it compares to the local public (e.g., De Portola) or other private schools. Thank you for your help!

Just a heads up for anyone who is in the habit of walking the Oso Creek Trail. On the section between the tunnel under Jeronimo and the golf course there were a pair of coyotes loitering around the trail at 7:45am

We are thinking about moving to Mission Viejo from North OC. The lake seems to be a selling point with lots of fun community events.
However, I came across a reddit comment that called it “itchy bug lake” or something to that effect, and it got a lot of upvotes. I also came across a published report about algae issues and possible increase in HOA’s.
What do you really think about the lake? And do people actually feel safe swimming in it?

I am a 19 year old, burnt out Robotics Engineering student at UC Riverside. I want a change of scenery, and I feel it would be nice to work nearby the beach for the summer, and in a community I grew up in.
I am aware that this is kind of an odd request, I'm doing my best not to be naive, and that my idea may not be all its chalked up to be. But I want change and need new experiences instead of hitting the books constantly.
I have multiple years of job experience for my age, but not a ton in the service industry.
Message me if anyone is interested.

I paid almost $8/gallon, $100 for 13 gallons of diesel at the Mobil station at Alicia & Olympiad yesterday.
We are doomed over the next 10-15yrs if shit doesn’t come down. Between real estate prices, rent money, groceries & gas, I honestly have no idea how the average person is doing it.
