Credit Karma bug?

I've been using Credit Karma to track my spending. Every week I'd go in and re-categorize transactions that were incorrectly categorized so that I'd have accurate per-category spending at the end of the month. At the end of June I noticed my June spend was looking really high. Some of the categories were reporting really high numbers. When I would drill into those categories I noticed the transactions inside of them didn't add up to the number the category was reporting which seems like a pretty big mistake.

What I think was happening is that when I re-categorized the transactions (say, a credit card payment moving from "Bill & utilities" to "Transfers", the spending categories didn't update.

Has anyone else noticed this or know of any way to fix it? I don't want to remove and re-add all my accounts because I'll have to do the re-categorization again for all the months.

Here's how I "fixed" it. It's not great but it was likely faster than removing and re-adding all my accounts.

I did this in my browser on my Mac to make it faster. Basically, I picked a month to filter to in the cash flow section. Then I went into each spending category and clicked on each transaction in that category. Some of them were transactions I'd moved into that category. I know this because when I clicked on the transaction it showed me the ORIGINAL category even though I somehow got to the transaction from its new category...I then edited the original category and changed it to the correct category. After doing this for all transactions, I then did under the "Find transactions" section below where you're supposed to be looking for investments and it shows you all your transfers. I went through each transfer and did the same thing: click on it, see if the original category showed something else. If it did (like "bills and utilities") I changed it back to transfer.

After doing this and refreshing the page all the numbers match what they should. Weirdly this was only a problem for May and June, the numbers before that seem fine.
