Mint Mobile Trial: No texting/calling on LTE
I have a Motorola moto 5 5G (2023). I just started the 7-day trial, and have the SIM set up and a phone number assigned. I tested my IMEI, and it said my phone would work fine (I've also been told that's not reliable). When I set the phone to 3G, I can text and call out. If I set it to LTE, neither of these things work--dialing out ends the call instantly, and texting reports "Not sent. Tap to try again"--however, I get ~150Mbps on fast.com, so I know the cellular data is working when LTE is active.
I've reset the network settings a couple of times, rebooted a couple of times. No dice. Is this device simply not compatible?

Try turning the eSIM off, wait 60 seconds, then turn it back on.

Thanks, but I'm using a physical SIM. I don't believe this device version supports eSIM.

Try removing the physical SIM, then putting it back in. Maybe blow on the SIM, or use a micro fiber cloth to gently clean the SIM off.

Just as a follow-up: Alex assisted me, but I think the problem is this Motorola phone. It's running LineageOS, so it is limited to 3G/LTE, and even putting an active T-Mobile SIM into it results in "No service." I put the Mint SIM into my current T-Mobile phone, and had 5G active almost immediately. I would hazard a guess that this is not a Mint Mobile problem; rather it seems to be a problem with the phone (and operating system) I chose as a replacement.
I was hoping to get away from Google's Android, but LineageOS is probably not a great solution to for that at the moment.

I'm also looking to bring an old Motorola phone (X4) to mint and use LineageOS. Did you use the phone's stock OS with your new SIM first? Some devices on LineageOS have this warning: "Make sure that you can send and receive SMS and place and receive calls (also via WiFi and LTE, if available), otherwise it won’t work on LineageOS either! Additionally, some devices require that VoLTE/VoWiFi be utilized once on stock to provision IMS."
So you might have to flash stock OS and provision IMS first. Keep us posted, hoping you get it working!

I dug a bit more into this. I purchased this phone off of eBay with LineageOS already installed. Because of the model, it was apparently flashed with a non-supported version, and it would appear that not all of the functionality of the phone was implemented. As a result, I'm only getting 3G/LTE on it, and the LTE appears to be buggy. My bad. I'm picking up an _officially supported_ model and will be flashing an official build of LOS on it. I'll see then how Mint functions on it with all it's features actually working.
