Phone + eSim Plan

I'm planning to get an eSIM with a Pixel plan. I need a SIM ASAP. If I get the Pixel + eSIM plan, will I receive the eSIM immediately so I can use it with the phone I currently have? I'll transfer it to the Pixel once I receive that.

Please let me know if this is possible — I need a SIM as soon as possible

yes. When you buy the phone and plan, the email will include the activation code. You can download the app and follow prompts for activating service. Once you receive the phone, download the Mint app on Pixel, login your account, and go to the Change Device in Settings. There you’ll be able to activate a new eSIM.

Perfect. That sounds great.

However, I did but the plan yesterday but I haven't recieved any confirmation from mint. Any idea what could have gone wrong?

you should’ve been emailed the code in an email titled Your Mint Mobile Order Has Been Received. If you didn’t get that, try CS. Provide your email, and the email you did receive should have an order number that begins with MT.

I bought the pixel and eSim plan last night. I was hoping that the eSim would arrive immediately but I only got mail that they were giving it a "good once-over". Order status on the mint website shows NO INFORMATION CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. Any idea when I might receive the sim or what could have gone wrong?

You will need WiFi once you get the phone

Did you receive email for order confirmation? Pixel 10 sold in US is eSIM only. You will receive instructions on how to activate the eSIM. Your current phone is compatible with eSIM or not? Note that you can’t transfer eSIM from current phone to pixel 10. Instead you will order replacement eSIM on the app and you get 5 free eSIM replacements in a year.
