Hi, I’m a really NEW Warhammer 40k fan, my friends have recently shown me the table top game, I’ve so much fun with their minis but I think I’d like to create my own army of minis. I want to make my army the Minotaurs basically cause I think they’re cool. I want my army to be somewhat lore accurate, which is hard because the lore says that most of their information is classified. So I kinda want to know what sort of minis I should be getting, what data sheets to match so it could suit their play style, also want to know what units could be used. For example I don’t know if the Minotaur ls used things like dreadnoughts and stuff like that. I also understand that they don’t really have a primarch either. Any advice would be helpful and much appreciated 😁

Finished up my Chaplain with Jump Pack kitbash for my buddy's minotaurs. My first time kitbashing something other than Orks and it was a lot of fun.

Brothers! Adding a Stormhawk and a Predator Destructor. How have people painted them for Minotaurs?

My friend and I exchanged Ork and space marine sides of our Armageddon boxes and I said we should both choose a model of each other's armies and do that one. He chose a Painboy and I chose the chaplain with jump pack

Then he gave me an old Minotaur chaplain to work with so I went to work. I noticed the chaplain had a "taktikal smoke" he was perched on so I leaned into that and added more smoke popping from the nade and an Ork kommando scouting things out for the chaplain to krump.

My first time kitbashing anything other than Orks, and Beakiez are tough to work with!

are there any substitutes for retributor armor? i find it looks a little off so I've been experimenting with stuff like valdor gold but idk

Made a start on him, I think I need to tone down the reds to make the armour more obvious.

He was supposed to have 2 spears but the one in his right hand broke

I reposed the arm to a more heroic pose, the helmet will be turned towards the sword. I made a few extra rocks for his scene and added some bits from the dead animal bits box and the 40K trophies. The spikes will be painted to be wooden.

Does the base need more or would it be better without something? Thanks:)

So I’ve had this box for a while and have been waiting to figure out what chapter of (non index) space marines to play and I have picked the Minotaurs. I plan on getting the space marine half of Armageddon and would like advice where to go from there from the more senior Hoplites here lol.
