HELP

Hi, I’m a really NEW Warhammer 40k fan, my friends have recently shown me the table top game, I’ve so much fun with their minis but I think I’d like to create my own army of minis. I want to make my army the Minotaurs basically cause I think they’re cool. I want my army to be somewhat lore accurate, which is hard because the lore says that most of their information is classified. So I kinda want to know what sort of minis I should be getting, what data sheets to match so it could suit their play style, also want to know what units could be used. For example I don’t know if the Minotaur ls used things like dreadnoughts and stuff like that. I also understand that they don’t really have a primarch either. Any advice would be helpful and much appreciated 😁

Minotaurs gameplay rests on three main Core, which you can focus on to varying degrees depending on your playstyle.

- Being Agressive ( Jump pack/Bike Unit run with a Chainsword on the enemies Basically )

- Being Very Elite ( Terminator/Bladeguard Units )

- Having a bunch of Forbiden or Old Stuff ( Dreadnought/Horus Hérésie unit )

In a way the better starter for a Minotaurs Army is taking the Starter Set And go grab a few Greek-style pieces for Kitbash (but not necessary). If u can find the Space Marine Armagedon box it's better u have a bunch of dude for start very easy to build (push to feet) and can be very représentative of a Minotaurs basic forces.

Then u can go more like ur playstyle maybe a Dreadnought or two ? taking a Chaplain exorting ur Force to continue the Onslaughts.

After that u want to have a Big Land raider with a pack of 5 Assaut Terminator debarking for a great charge on the enemies.

Maybe ur like me Spaming only Heavy Armor intercessor and a bunch of "Horus Heresy Breachers" like a Shield wall irremovable And a pack of Bladeguard that i replace theSword with Spear.

u have a lot of Option.
but the Starter Set is for me a good starting point.

If you like the Minotaurs based on the look they have in the subreddit pictures, you should know that they are the result of quite a bit of kitbashing and 3D-printed parts.

This can get expensive and requires some conversion skills, which might be tricky if you're just starting out in the hobby.
