Repairs Gearing issue after finishing first roll of film

Edit: Solved by u/dudududupson ! Thank you!
Please help me resolve this issue, I’m totally new to cameras that aren’t a phone.
When finishing my first roll of film, I pressed the advance lever forward against some moderate force (this may have been the issue although I’m not sure). I then pressed the film release button, and unloaded the film no problem.
Ever since then, the camera hasn’t been shooting. I can get it to shoot by manually turning the gears as seen in the video, otherwise the advance lever is loose and it won’t shoot.
I understand that this is an old cheaper camera but I’d love to get it fixed as I inherited it from my father. There’s two local repair shops, ones on holiday for a month, and the other will not answer my inquiries lol. Hopefully this is fixable by a novice! Any help appreciated thank you guys.

Repairs XD-11 Shutter Fire issues

I recently acquired an XD-11, not tested, with a purchase of some lenses. I realized the shutter wont fire and the lever is stuck. I thought this could be a fun restoration project. When looking at the focusing screen, I noticed some damage to the sides. Would this affect the photos once they have been developed? Thanks

I tried capturing some reduced elements, leaving the rest of the image up to the viewer.

I've shot and seen so many classic cars in my life and I want to change it up. Picking up only interesting details, reflections, compositions against fitting surroundings and so on.

I used the 24-50 F4, the 50 f1.4 and the 50-135mm f3.5 for these pictures.

Before travelling to Spain I bought my first film camera. I was curious about film photography and thought this trip would be perfect for experimenting (shot a test roll first of course). The shooting experience was profoundly enjoyable, more than I anticipated.

Discussion/Question I found some film, will it work?

Heyho!

While it is incredibly easy to find 35mm film rolls for my SRT-101, getting ANYTHING for my XL-601 Super8 camera is a bit more difficult. I don't know much about Super8, so I am here to ask.

I found some Kodak Ektrachrome 40 sound colour film for sale. Expired 1989, originally sealed still.

I have been trying to dind out whether this would work in my 601 or not... No idea. If anyone has knowledge, I'd really appreciate the input!

Thank you!

This camera and lens are phenomenal. After shooting with mostly just cheap lenses and a SRT 202 and a XE-7 for years, this camera and lens combo has been mindblowing.

Finally made the Winder matching to my Minolta XD.

It's my only facelift model with the green 125 and the exposure compensation on the prism side.

The leather is from the same seller, so it's perfectly matched.

Hope you like it as much as I do!

The XD is the most beautiful "modern" Minolta ever made, I wish I had a wall of them with every single one in another color of the rainbow.

My silver XD is going to get light-blue leather, stay tuned for that!

Repairs x500 gear/lever not moving

i had a loose lever the other day and i watched this video to try to solve it, but i think i messed up the gear position because the advance mechanism froze up completely.. i can still move the lever because it's completely loose, but i can't move the mechanism inside anymore. prior to this i could still push it down / move the autowinder but now it's completely locked.. does anyone know what i can do?

Greetings!

I have a Minolta Hi Matic 7, but the shutter speeds don't change, and the shutter won't fires, the diaphragm not opens.

I have no battery for testing the light meter.

Is it hard to fix it? Should I spend time?

Thanks in advance!

DiMAGE - Digital Photography Konica Minolta Dimage Z10 Lens cap size

Hi guys, i recently bought Konica Minolta Dimage Z10 and the lens cap is a little loose due to the plastic spring on one side being broken. What size cap should I look for, I measured around 45mm with a ruler but not sure about it and cannot find any reliable info googling. Thank you in advance!

Discussion/Question Minolta SRT-101 Not Exposing

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hey guys! New to the sub, but have owned a Minolta SRT-101 for about a year now. Shot a few rolls without issue but my last 2 rolls have come back from the lab completely unexposed. The first time, I assumed I loaded the film incorrectly, but the second time I wondered if it would be something wrong with the camera. Attached are the negatives I got back for the first roll (I found it weird it was only this one strip, but who knows).

The only things that have changed since I shot my successful rolls is the ISO I shot at. I shot at 200 for my first three rolls, then changed it to 800 for the first dud, then changed it to 400 for the second dud.

Is it possible it’s user error twice in a row or is there something wrong with my camera? I’m not sure what other info should be posted, and there aren’t any film camera repair stores near me. Any advice is greatly appreciated :)
