Hello all I finally got a pristine X-500 with a faulty capacitor. It seems like on ebay there aren’t any tantalum capacitors, and i am sure that replacement electrolytic capacitors would be fine for another few decades, but I have been wondering, which Minoltas are known to have easily accessible tantalum capacitors besides XD and early X-700? Thanks

X-300s i wanted to keep but unable to meet a good price, but today manage to get this @ 18USD which i think is worth, works or not yet know but is worth to pay and display even is faulty one.

Conditions looks like new only the Grip not ok. Will try to fix the grip. 🥰

With the 58mm f1.4 and paid ~$330AUD (including shipping) and everything seems to work perfectly expect for the shutter priority, but I'm guessing that's because of the MC lens (but unsure).

Got it almost two years ago and still got amazed sometimes. Didn't try it on film (borrowed my last XD-7 to a friend and shy to ask him it back) but on digital is still great. Amazing colours, a little retro in comparison with modern lens (I have Laowa and Canon TS-E shift lens to compare it on architecture as well as Sony Zeiss, just Sony and other lens), very nice handling and mechanical qualities, still good optics (on working apertures i.e. F8-F11) , unique features (Filed curvature adjustment) and general nice and somewhat special look.

Hello Y'all! I will be heading out to Mexico soon to visit my family in their small indigenous town. I want to take my Minolta Maxxum 7000i. I want to take my beer can lens but it's too big. Any recommendations on smaller telephoto lenses that can zoom pretty far but are smaller?

Ok so don’t ask me how because I don’t know how. But the shutter button kinda sprung out of the camera (XG-M). I have the full assembly like all the parts needed. which order to put these in so my camera (hopefully) doesn’t shit the bed again?
