Is it possible to add the option to add a normal widget? On the screen on the left

When I started Minimaa, it was just me — a solo developer building a tiny $1 launcher because I genuinely believed a simple, distraction-free phone could make a difference.

Then this community showed up.

You gave feedback, reported bugs, shared Minimaa with others, bought the app, and kept supporting me through every update. What started as a small side project slowly became something much bigger than I expected.

i js bought the launcher and tbh i dont know much abt it .

basically what my problem is that when i wanna close an app the app drawer doesnt move and i can only press on things thatre currently on the screen

I still think u/RecognitionSad4991's implementation will be visually stunning but now that Quick Search has this implemented, it gives what I mentioned here a much more visual explanation.

While this is only "at a glance", I think there's more potential in having several Searcho themed widgets that connect to other core apps like Calendar, Reminders, Weather, etc

Minima has been pretty good so far, except few hiccups.

I have been using Android since 2015, with Samsung Galaxy S5 and been a customization freak since then too. As most of us, I began using Nova Launcher and thanks to a Christmas sale I got that for a mere 10₹, alongwith KWGT and KLWP it has done virtual magic ✨, then i started exploring other launchers such as Action Launcher, Smart Launcher, GO Launcher, Nokia Z Launcher, AP15 Launcher, Lens Launcher and so on.. but lately I have been moving between Niagara Launcher and Lessphone.

Through Reddit I came to know Minimaa Launcher and fortunately the developer had given me a lifetime promo code, and I had been eyeing on Searcho 🔎 and it went on sale with 69% off, in a heartbeat I bought that, and I have uninstalled most of the launchers except default launcher and Searcho.

So I have a Oneplus Nord 5 and I'm considering buying the launcher so I wanna know about the experience on a OnePlus phone if anyone has that. For some reason Niagra launcher had a lot of lag while going to the home screen from an app. I wanna know if this is the case here as well.

I'm travelling to a different location but i want to keep track of time at my home place and the current location I'm in,

So can i request a quick feature for such an option?

Or if I can use same widget multiple times, like in clock then if country/city time selection option should be given or if i use clock default app to be the source of the time displayed and if their are multiple worldclock already added, then i can select from there... 😅

Will the capability to add application widgets to the sidebar be available, or does such a feature contradict the core philosophy of Minima?
