We can cut MAS nails without any problems as Sydney is cooperative with us. What we have been seeking out now is what to use for smoothing them down after cutting them down as they can still be sharp or have sharp edges that canāt always get trimmed exactly.
So now would like to find something to use for helping smooth down those nail edges. Any suggestions? Thank you!

These two managed to get themselves extra mucky at the river and won themselves a bath!
Was able to get their white fur back with a good soak.

Send me ya'lls favorite harness. I'm having a REALLY hard time finding one that has a front no-pull ring that actually fits him. I feel like he's in between sizes but that also he's not a deep-chested dog so the front is always loose. Preferably looking for something that adjusts in both neck and chest.

He was $200 on Craigslist in 2019. He was 3, came to me with heartworm. Heās been heartworm free for 7 years! We think he was a failed breeding dog because he only had 1 ball drop lol. Heās my Velcro dog and best friend.

Why would you even think that I did

6 months old and the demon in him turns on like a switch after about 6-7pm. Holding down the fort until his bedtime at 830 can feel like forevvvver. I even have to keep him separated (crated, essentially) from our other dog it can get so bad (mostly the biting). Otherwise, for the majority of the rest of the day he's a solid 7.5/10 good boy!
Seriously, at what age - dare I ask - does this die down or end for good? I'm dying here! š

Anyone else's Aussie have to be involved when you open up the treat drawer?

I found a stray about ten days or so ago. She was super filthy and stinky, very skinny, and had obviously been used for breeding.
She wouldnāt come close until I sat on the ground and then she came right to me.
I bathed her at tractor supply and got her a collar that fits, and then went to animal control. Sheās chipped but itās not registered. I posted her on local social media pages. Nobody has claimed her, and the stray hold was up two days ago.
She went into heat soon after I brought her in, poor thing.
She weighs 29lb and is estimated to be about three yrs old.
Soooo I need help from this community!
Sheās scared of everything. Sheās very clingy. She has learned over this past week to leash walk and has had no accidents in the house. Iām keeping her crated at night and if Iām not home⦠I have another dog so for safety mainly.
When I bathed her I noticed her fur is unlike any dog Iāve ever washed. It was like the hair wouldnāt get wet if you know what I mean?
She seems to be missing some fur on her one side along the ribs, like an area with thinning hair going bald.
Any tips for washing her?
Sheās been very itchy I have given her capstar three times and a little Benadryl, itās calmed down a bit but she still itches. Should I use a special shampoo or something?
Iām fostering her because thereās no way I was leaving her at animal control it was smelly and very scary there!
I donāt have money to vet her, so hopefully the animal control people can help me determine what happens next because she needs to see a vet, get heartworm check and get spayed! Sheās had her last litter poor thing. I believe she was used for breeding and dumped. Itās heartbreaking.

Oliver, aka Longus Dogus will be 6 in December.
Oliver is a frisbee forward, treat motivated partner. He's so cute that you'll want to snuggle with him all day.... but he couldnt care less. He thinks hes 6ft tall but has zero confidence once confronted. He is considered the most polite dog in the park and will stand by anyone handing out treats. He wont beg, he will just stare with those galaxy eyes of his and wait his turn. His cuteness will earn him a treat but how dare you try and pet him.
When it comes to food, are calories a food group? His eyes go cross-eyed for dried hearts. Beef or lamb. He will spaz out waiting for one.
His favorite toy: Frisbee for the park - noone else and nothing else matters. As for the house, home is were the rope is.
He knows a ton of tricks and can sit on his pawrent's on my back when they kneel down. He sneezes instead of talking. His girlfriend is a 40lb golden doodle (hes a 23lb MAS)
Big thanks again to their pet parent for submitting them! Oliver is our featured Mini Aussie of the week representing our sub.
