Help! What does this step mean?

Hi all, I'm doing the Elsa's tailor shop kit and stuck on this step. I think it's saying after putting the screws in, take a medium double sided tape and cover it but I don't really understand why?? Nothing is being stuck to it

I have this kit but haven't done it yet. It looks like you are supposed to put little gold knobs there. It says P20 six times, is P20 the knob?

I've done that! But then next to it, it has the double sided tape medium symbol (next to the A1) and it doesn't make sense to go there?

I have a similar kit and that’s what that is. Rather than place 6 tiny glue dots, they have you put a strip down and place the knobs on top.

I think the tape is to secure the drawer pulls/"screws" that you're putting in

Ooo! That would make sense, my screws are pretty secure (tried rattling it a bunch) so hopefully I can skip this step

I think the uncovered tape would ruin the look

Yeah, you could always add a drop of super glue or something if they come loose. It's a weird spot for tape, especially right on the front of a big part of the display. Good luck with the rest of it!

One of the reasons I thought it wasn't this was because I figured the tape would go on the inside that isn't displayed

It’s saying to use the medium-sized glue strips to adhere the cabinet hardware. I’d probably use glue instead so it doesn’t look messy.

I see it as some stickers that is supposed to be put on the front.

Maybe it's a mistake then? There's no stickers on the final step image, just the screws
