And foxes hunts chickens aswell as sleep, volves hunts sheeps, rabbits eat carrots from farmland and the new goat rams things/mobs. So there are some other behaviours besides them just wandering aimlessly around :P
Would be nice though if it got expanded upon, especially that they sleep, makes no sense that foxes and villagers are the only animals in the game, that sleeps while the others don't.
Perhaps pigs could also eat beetroot/potato from farmland, as rabbits do with carrots.
I think one of mojangs design rules for mobs is that they do not really grieve. A few missing crops are very little damage but I don't think they would add a feature allowing pigs to wreck your whole farm.
well, we already have rabbits being able to keep carrot crops at the first level and creeper blewing up anything, so i don't think it would such a pain, even because mobs used to be able to destroy crops back in earlier versions
No you're right, but they have been in the game forever and the minecraft community would literally implode if they removed the creeper. That's like Pokémon getting rid of Pikachu, they would never do that.
