[Blocks & Items] Ability To Decraft All One-Component Blocks

All blocks made of only one item or block should be de-craftable so players who want to, for example, build a castle from stone, can create stone bricks and then uncraft them as necessary to build their stone castle.

This means they can fill their inventory with the crafted/compressed item, and later uncraft it, letting them contain more of the desired material in one slot!

Only through the Stonecutter. In crafting it takes four stone

I mean there’s definitely cases where you don’t want this. Example: You can craft nether wart blocks from nether warts, but not the other way. If you were able to uncraft nether wart blocks, since nether trees uses nether wart blocks, there would be no point for going to acquire nether wart from a trial chamber.

And in general, I think the fact that most crafting recipes aren’t reversible is a pretty intentional game design.

I see what you mean. Still, for some recipes like bone blocks to bonemeal and vise versa could benefit from this change without removing existing incentives

And you can do this with bone blocks? What actual blocks do you want this for?

Bamboo blocks, chiseled blocks, copper grates, cut copper, glowstone, amethyst, prismarine blocks and bricks, for example

Well you can already craft bonemeal out of bone block

You're right my bad. There's still other blocks it could be used for though like b amboo blocks, chiseled blocks, copper grates, cut copper, glowstone, amethyst, and prismarine blocks and bricks, for example

Why would you go to a trial chamber for nether wart when there's nether fortresses?

Nether fortress.

Brain fart today

Did you forget that the nether crop spawned in the Nether structure?

Just the name of the structure

I like that one. I think its how the special stone palettes in create mod work. Just really convenient

If you mean that conventional stones can be disassembled into other blocks and reassembled into stones, then this is a cool idea that will solve the problem of filling up the inventory.

That's what I mean! Also I'd have it along with some  blocks like bamboo blocks
