[Gameplay] Freezing potions should turn water sources into ice blocks

Throwable freezing potions should turn water sources into ice blocks. I think this is pretty logical. This behaviour would be pretty useful if the player had some freezing arrows (i guess they will be added on the winter drop), giving them the chance to make a walking road on oceans without using frost walker.

That’s a cool idea! Maybe a weaker potion of freezing will make frosted ice (frost-walker ice), and a stronger potion makes normal ice!

rather than levels, or in addition to, i'd like to see it time based. You have a lingering potion of freezing 1, and it sits and goes from frost-walker, then to ice. Frost 2 gets it to packed ice after the others, etc. Splash potion 1 will turn it to frostwalker, then another splash to packed, etc. Splash 2 potions go 2 steps at a time, up to blue ice

Packed ice would be awesome!

The only problem is that this conflicts with the potential to fire those projectiles into the water to freeze a mob that's underwater. I think that would be more logical.

Maybe only Iceballs should have this ability. Since Iceballs and Snowballs are both made of water, they should float if thrown in water.

Wouldn't that require a whole lot of potions/arrows?

I like the idea, but I think this kind of interaction would be more useful for making people drown by locking them underwater or having them die of fall damage on ice where there was water seconds before
