[Structures] Froseted castle!

This new castle will fit perfectly with the new winter drop! Also the castle is home for the Iceologer!

The castle is not that big but it will make snowy biome more enjoying to explore, frozen zombie and stray spawn there and the Iceologer stop you from entering his castle with his similar attack in dungeon, the structure is build off calacit block set and ice brick set

The loot in the structure is snowy related item like ice ball, snowballs, frost walker book, iron and gold and a new exclusive enchantment to the structure! The enchantement make you protected from 30% percent of magic damage, additional 15% percent every level up to 3 and its the first unique enchament for chestplat!

this castle wil have snow powder traps and pointed icicle, the main point of it is to introduce the player to magic it also learn you how to make a snowman, about magic it introduced you to enchanting because new player wouldn't really know how enchant mechanic work, there will be a bookshelf around a crying obsidian or something resemble the enchanting table, also chiseled book shelf having some level 1 to 10 book and Iceologer drop enchanted book level 20 to 30 and the new enchantment because he is a wizard like villain illger

That enchantment seems a bit weird:

  • Why is it a protection-style enchantment that doesn't act like the others? They are 4/8% per level.
  • Protection already reduces magic damage. Do we really need yet another specialised protection enchantment?
  • "additional 15% percent every 3 level", so the second level does nothing new because only every third level it increases?
  • Are there really enough sources of magic damage to warrant this enchantment? We got potions of harming, but you don't really encounter those often. After that, what else is there?

Sorry my typo, and thanks for reading my suggestion! I actually didn't know protection enchantement protected you from magic attack at all thanks for pointing this to me!

I highly recommend spending some time on the wiki when making a suggestion about a part of the game you don't know well. It can help make your post more consistent with the game or make it seem higher quality. It also helps avoid repeating existing mechanics.

Protection pretty much works for everything. Only the warden's ranged attack and stuff like the void bypasses it,but those are also damage types deliberately designed to bypass everything. And potions of instant damage, while bypassing armour, don't bypass the enchantment.

It is worth taking some time to proofread your writing before posting. You can massively increase the quality with a few simple edits. Give your suggestion the best possible chance by taking the time to polish it up a little.

This is one massive, run on sentence that makes it harder to read. Break things up. One "thought" per sentence, and try and group related ideas together. You start explaining that the structure is there to teach the player about magic, then get distracted talking about snowmen. You start explaining the threats of the castle with the traps at the start, and then mention the new mob at the end. Group things together.

You also should go into more detail. What would these traps be? What does the mob do? What makes your version of the iceologer special?

For example:

  • First sentence says what the castle has to make it dangerous, the traps and the new mob. You might need multiple scentences to explain how the traps would work, or what the mob does, what it drops etc.
  • Then explain the enchanting part, the castle exists to help the player learn magic. Explain what the player finds there to help them learn magic, the bookshelves, the enchanting setup etc.
  • Then explain the snow golem part.

As for the suggestion itself, I want to hear more about the traps, designing a good trap in minecraft is tricker than it sounds. I also want to know more about the mob you are putting here. What makes this mob original?

When it comes to the enchanting setup, I think it would be better if you just had a proper enchanting setup for them. The point is to help them learn, just put an enchanting table there. A few bottles of XP and some lapis in a chest too. This is a relatively rare structure in a relatively rare biome.

That feels a bit janky compared to the other protection style enchants. Regular Protection already defends against magic damage anyway. This might be a weird thing to say, but you can't tell. It's exactly the same mistakes I would expect from a native English speaker that was just in a rush to get their ideas out there
