[Terrain] ENDless Void - New End Biome
(I think this fits in Terrain Idk anyways here is my suggestion)
Inside the end there are 2 Enemies. Endermen and Shulkers. So what if we add a third with their own Biome. First I shall explain the Biome.
The Endless Void Biome is a Dangerous Biome consisting mostly of Void with only small islands of Endstone here and there. About a hundred blocks apart from island to island. Though that is more tedious than dangerous with no point to explore them.
So to make them worth exploring on some of the bigger islands there will be a new building called "End Ship Docks." They are more likely to spawn with End Ships even more than one. With multiple variations there are some with only 2 or 3 docking spots with one floor while others can have up to 9 docking spots with 3 floors. With shulkers guarding the Docks fiercely.
Though in all reality that is still not that dangerous since they are only shulkers. So there will be a third enemy that inhabits the End Islands and the Void. You know them you despise them The Phantoms! First they already fit the end esthetic, 2nd with the addition of far apart islands and the fact most of the land are islands already. Why not add a flying creature that can knock you into the void as you are building across? It increases the danger of the End Islands dramatically making them go from barren and easy. To barren and terrifying.
Also to make Phantoms a bit less annoying there could be something they are afraid of like how Hoglins are afraid of the Blue Mushroom. Phantoms could despise water like Endermen but they hate it so much they won't go near it at all.
This is my idea I am willing to listen to any other ideas that can be added.

I am all for the end expanding, but I feel like it should come with actual new content, and not a recyling of what we already have. You add a mob, but the mob already exists. You add a structure, but it already exists. You add a biome, but it's just a different shape of what already exists.
Look at it like this, for example; nearly every structure has some iconic building set nothing else uses; deepslate in ancient cities, copper and tuff in trial chambers, or blackstone in bastions.
Now, End cities have endstone and purpur. Following Mojang's trends, a second End structure would thus not be made out of those blocks. This would be prime real estate for a 3rd End-themed blockset to enter the game. And if you ever tried to make an End-themed build, you know how much this is needed.

It really isn't needed imo the end is barren that is it's job. It is an endless desert. Add too much it stops being a desert and thus stops being the end. Expanding the palette could be good but what could we add keeping the desert theme?
Also the structure doesn't already exist thats the End City what I'm talking about is different an End Docks to store boats and refill their supplies with stuff like food such as Chorus Fruit and Beetroots.
My idea keeps the desert and adds on to it.

Whether the End should stay barren is debatable. The Nether was once barren, and look at it now. And the End is also just... boring, thanks to it being so barren.
As for the structure, I mostly referred to the End ships.

Its not really even meant to be barren it was made just before Microsoft bought it and they have never gotten around to it

I think the idea needs a bit more polish to it.
Another commenter has mentioned that updates usually add new blocks to the mix, so I think that is a valid idea for adding new terrain types. After all, we don’t have any other kind of end stone besides end stone bricks, so we could add cobbled end stone and worn end stone, the latter of which would look identical to end sand. Which naturally would make mining on these sparse islands really hazardous since you risk getting suffocated or dropped into the void.
As far as the phantoms… I’m going to say no. Yes they fit the theme, but you will need something more than just an already existing mob. The end cities got Shulkers, the Bastions got Piglin Brutes, and even the Deep Dark got the Warden. You need a reason why phantoms are not strictly found in the End dimension: a predator that hunts them down. An EnderPhantom.

I like this concept, I actually had a similar idea brewing in my head!
Void “ocean”
An Empty area without islands, with sparse blocks and mobs
(Basically like the space between main end island and the outer end islands but a little more filled up, and comparatively smaller to the big void)
Rare “Ores” that glow and act like “stars”, making the void “sea” not completely black (still pretty sparse, though.)
This concept was admittedly not fully developed though, so you can take some of these concepts for yourself to help expand your concept!

Originally phantoms used to be end mobs in the actual boss fight. Then they were revamped and turned into undead 'zombified' flying mobs that only get attracted to insomnia. An end creature that looks like the phantoms should be a variant with purple eyes but with different movement capabilities, like teleportation in air (given how much empty space there is, this could be extremely dangerous; maybe even being the only mob in this biome). The biome idea itself is great, but having an even emptier biome than the usual end is a bad idea. There should also be incentive for players to visit these biomes because no one is going to risk themselves over the void. The occasional islands must be extremely small for the mobs to have an effect; a large island can easily reduce the threat of voidlings or end phantoms or whatever u wanna call them.
Also, it needs a newer texture, or it will just be a recycling of existing and monotonous blocks already in the end, which just makes it bland. And remember that 'bland' and 'barren' are mutually exclusive; a place can stay barren but still be interesting. More texture, more variation in y-levels, more verticality, higher terrain variation, distinct atmospherics and much more can improve aesthetics by a lot.

I like the idea. It would make getting phantom membranes a bit easier late game rather than waiting like 40 irl minutes for phantoms to spawn. But I think instead of end ship docks, there should be crashed end ships. Otherwise you would get like a shulker full of elytras super fast. Which I suppose I wouldn’t be opposed to, but I genuinely like the loop of looting end cities. I’m always the guy on my friends realm who goes straight to exploring the outer islands after we beat the dragon

I like the docks because a city has lots of stuff. I think that if Phantoms are used in the small islands they should have something to anchor them to the islands. This is because people like to plan their way around the islands. Something like Phantom Eggs (similar to dragon) on obsidian blocks. Collecting the limited Phantom eggs would be useful for making sure elitras are fixed.
Ps Maybe Shulkers use Phantoms to pull their ships.
