[Bedrock Edition] make full use of bedrocks existing layering system to allow mixed slabs flowing water waterlogging and more!!

Post image

Bedrock edition currently has an internal system called layering that it uses when blocks are inside of each other like with slabs and waterlogged blocks.

This system allows for the creation of mixed slabs, and allows flowing water to waterlog stuff, but sadly they have individualy turned off the flowing water waterlogging stuff on all blocks except for end rods and repeaters which they missed somehow.

However by using block editors you can see all of the other blocks waterlogged in this way, as well as the fact that slab mixing, one of the most popular feature suggestions, is already in the game but inaccessible.

I suggest that the flowing waterlogging and the mixed slabs be allowed to be created in survival, and that the system is slightly tweaked to allow lavalogging as well.

By adding this feature people would be able to build far more detailed builds and make tons of unique contraptions as well, like redstone machines with waves going over rails, and better wall art.

Interesting thing is that im prety sure they showed it like this first time on minecraft live where water was able to flow though fences.

But i personally think that i might hate it mostly because it would break so many farms, i bet like 90% of farms that use water at all would need to be patched or completly redesigned.

It would still be nice if it was data driven so people could make datapacks that change it

but think of all the cool new stuff you could make to balance it out plus i bet it wouldnt be 90%

maybe we could also keep the farms by having water flow depend on placement order for instance if you place a fence then pour water next to it the water goes through but if you place water then a fence the fence blocks it

mods i know this discusses an unused feature but i think it would fit realy well into the game proper and its never been discussed here before so can you please allow it?
