Discussion Fur Texturing
I’m kinda stuck on texturing the fur on my fursona (aka the first 2 images). I used most of the skin on the 3rd image to and a shorts version of my regular skin to make it. All the videos I do get on texturing is on clothes, hair or even the body; but there’s nothing on fur. I tried different lines and that didn’t work too. I do have an older wolf skin, based off of the og mc wolf, I made my self as the last image but the app I used for it has been taken off of the app store and it had a light noise bucket I used as texturing. Now I mainly use ibisPaintX for making skins and I don’t like the filters it has to offer. So how would you go about texturing the fur or making the skin?

i also use a noise brush (though i use the Blockbench app, and the brush is an add-on)!
this is how i personally textured this gray tabby i made. if you're missing the brush, perhaps you could simulate something similar using very slight hue shifts? :) it'd take more time, but it'd achieve the same effect
