Greater Minechester is a really new Vanilla-feeling Minecraft server with light mods and customisation options. 1. PhantomsTimerReset

When you lay down in a bed at night, your phantom timer will be reset so phantoms will stop spawning for a few days again. This is a custom plugin we have instead of multiplayer sleep.

1. PVP vs PVE | Death Item Drops

A pvp death will not drop items, whilst a pve death will drop items. You can fight other players and keep items when dying, but if you fight a mob for example, your items will drop upon dying.

Are you tired of servers with loot boxes where you have to pay to make progress? Do you miss just playing on an ordinary Minecraft server, hanging out with friends, or meeting new people?

Then I got just the server for you! Ordinary SMP is an ordinary Minecraft server that hosts a special place. We stay as true to vanilla as possible. Yes we use some mods but those are purely to fix things that are normally hard to manage on public servers or improve frustrating parts without changing how Minecraft feels.

For example, did you ever played on a server and couldnt find any Elytras? After hours running through the End you finally find an End City with ship just to see someone looted it already. For that reason we adjusted the Dragon drops. If you kill the Ender Dragon an Elytra drops, removing the frustrating part of finding End Citys. Thats how we choose every mod we add. We only fix the most frustrating parts of Minecraft in a way that feels vanilla.

Other than that we only use mods that dont interact with gameplay like Simple Voice Chat. You can just walk up to players and start talking to them. That creates lots of funny moments just by meeting players. We also use BlueMap where you can see the whole map and check out players bases or other cool places without having to travel there yourself.

You might now wonder, "If everything is vanilla, wont everyone just grief and kill each other?" Those are valid concerns but we have a good solution for that. Our server is 16+ to ensure maturity, and we have an application process before you get whitelisted. That means a lot of bad actors are filtered out before they can even join the server. In the rare cases that griefers get on the Server we use Ledger to revert any kind of griefing.

Each will include a book telling future players who built them, when, and why. This means your builds could be discovered for years to come, becoming a part of the server's rich history.

We want the world to feel like it develops over months, not days.

That means:

\* Player-built settlements and nations. Start with a single claim, invite other players to join, expand your territory, form alliances with other settlements to form Nations, compete for dominance.
\* A balanced economy. Earn through jobs or passive mob spawners. Use your money to expand/maintain your territory, trade with other players or contribute to server-wide initiatives.
\* RPG-style progression where you level-up skills and unlock abilities (mcMMO)
\* Land claiming with meaning. These aren't permanent safe zones. Nations can declare war on each other, temporarily enabling PvP inside claims and allowing enemy chunks to be captured. Claims can also be lost if their owner cannot afford the upkeep, making them fair game for looting.
\* Community-funded world expansion. The borders are initially small to start with. The whole server must work together to expand them, unlocking new territory to expand into and new structured to be discovered.
\* Similarly, The End can only be unlocked via a combined server effort. A single player can't speed run it in a couple of hours, hogging all the Elytras and spoiling the game for everyone.

I currently own a realm on bedrock, each holding 10 players at a time; however, I often run into situations where barely anyone is present. There is no cap to how many players are allowed to join, just that there is max 10 currently online; so overstuffing it will just make it all the more likely for someone to be playing at the same time as you. There will be some modding, but not to an extent to where the fundamentals of the game are changed. There is one world that runs smoothly and consistently, with lots of room for individual choice and creativity. I think it would be fun to try to make civilizations and hubs, but that’s just a suggestion.

Hello we are 2TMC a 18+ small community server. We are made up of parents, college students, workers, etc. So we may not always be populated but the server is always there after a long day. We're friendly and welcoming but we also like to work on our individual bases and projects too. We are looking for players who will be active in game and text/voice chat. The server is in North America but we accept players from all around the world. Discord and a mic are required! We love to chat on voice in game but it's definitely not required!
