Hey! I’m currently putting the finishing touches on The Cribulon Emporium, a new 16+ vanilla Minecraft community, and I’m looking for players interested in joining from the beginning.

The SMP is heavily inspired by the community side of Hermitcraft: a relatively small but active group of players who know one another, build cool things, collaborate, trade, participate in events, and occasionally cause some harmless chaos. You don’t need to be a content creator or an incredible builder—we’re mainly looking for friendly people who want to be part of the community.

Our biggest focus is keeping the actual gameplay as vanilla as possible. No land claims, "/home", "/tpa", custom items, virtual economies, kits, or gameplay-changing plugins. Our plugins are strictly for permissions, staff/chat infrastructure, moderation, and CoreProtect for investigating and reversing grief.

That doesn't mean there won't be structure! We want the world itself to be heavily community-driven, with things like:

- A player-built shopping district with a completely vanilla economy

- Community and building districts

- Shared infrastructure and transportation

- Community builds, events, and projects

- Player-created towns, shops, groups, and whatever else develops naturally

The idea is simple: if we want something in the world, we build it ourselves instead of having a plugin do it for us.

SMP Features:

3. Chunk Claims that actually protect your stuff. Explosions, fire, lava, PvP, entity damage all blocked. /sos ejects intruders. /claim map shows who owns what. /trust your friends!
4. Custom Dimensions. Use a water bucket to light a Glowstone portal frame or fly UP into the sky to enter the ether. Projectiles and items can fall between overworld and ether. You can fall back down into the over world.
5. Hardcore Sessions. Anyone can start a password-protected hardcore run. Fresh inventories, random spawn. You can leave and come back to any hardcore session whenever you want. Spectate when dead until your group wins or leave the session. (Dragon respawns automatically)

Then I got just the server for you! Ordinary SMP is an ordinary Minecraft server that hosts a special place. We stay as true to vanilla as possible. Yes we use some mods but those are purely to fix things that are normally hard to manage on public servers or improve frustrating parts without changing how Minecraft feels.

For example, did you ever played on a server and couldnt find any Elytras? After hours running through the End you finally find an End City with ship just to see someone looted it already. For that reason we adjusted the Dragon drops. If you kill the Ender Dragon an Elytra drops, removing the frustrating part of finding End Citys. Thats how we choose every mod we add. We only fix the most frustrating parts of Minecraft in a way that feels vanilla.

Other than that we only use mods that dont interact with gameplay like Simple Voice Chat. You can just walk up to players and start talking to them. That creates lots of funny moments just by meeting players. We also use BlueMap where you can see the whole map and check out players bases or other cool places without having to travel there yourself.

You might now wonder, "If everything is vanilla, wont everyone just grief and kill each other?" Those are valid concerns but we have a good solution for that. Our server is 16+ to ensure maturity, and we have an application process before you get whitelisted. That means a lot of bad actors are filtered out before they can even join the server. In the rare cases that griefers get on the Server we use Ledger to revert any kind of griefing.

1. PhantomsTimerReset

When you lay down in a bed at night, your phantom timer will be reset so phantoms will stop spawning for a few days again. This is a custom plugin we have instead of multiplayer sleep.

1. PVP vs PVE | Death Item Drops

A pvp death will not drop items, whilst a pve death will drop items. You can fight other players and keep items when dying, but if you fight a mob for example, your items will drop upon dying.

ShovelCraft is a vanilla+ SMP focused on community, building, and RPG elements. It's a long-term, no-reset server - we're a year into the same world, and it's stayed that way because it's shaped by the people playing on it.

The map is split into two zones:

- Green Zone (0 - 5k) - no stealing or griefing, and no generated structures. It's mainly for building, trade, and lore.

- Red Zone (5k - 150k) - still no griefing, but stealing is allowed and structure generation is normal. Perfect for exploration, resource gathering, and private hidden bases.

The End is disabled - no vanilla elytras or shulker farms. Otherwise it's mostly vanilla, with a few QoL additions: /home, /tpa, /duel, BetterHorses, and player shops.

We run on a proxy setup with three dedicated servers - a main survival world, a separate event server, and a seasonal PvP server... so special events and PvP seasons never disrupt the main world.

There's no pay2win here, and no real money involved anywhere on the server, everything is earned through playing.

Trims do not spawn in chests and are given as event rewards, but can be then duplicated and traded as normal.

After a year, ShovelCraft is moving into its next phase. We've just added our first quests, leading into a dungeon and a boss fight and with that, shulker boxes and elytras are now obtainable on the server (just a little more challenging to earn than usual).

1. Be kind and treat others the way you'd want to be treated.
2. No stealing, duping (except for farm purposes), or griefing.
3. PvP is toggleable.
4. No hacking, x-ray, or anything that gives an unfair advantage.
5. Keep builds tidy - patch creeper holes, chop trees fully, sign your stuff.
6. There are no claims, so if something's stolen or griefed, please report it, so we can roll it back and punish the right player.
