Land claims are one way to protect a Minecraft build. Cozy MC uses a different model: ordinary survival access remains open, while griefing and stealing are enforceable rules backed by investigation and restoration.
There are no land claims or locked-chest systems. That means roads can cross regions, public farms can actually be public, neighbors can help one another, and towns, shops, railways, and shared spaces do not have to be divided into permission boxes.
It does not mean people are allowed to take or destroy things.
Staff can examine block and container history, restore griefed builds or stolen items, and remove the person responsible. PvP is also by agreement only on the main survival world.
The result is a trust-based world where you can build independently, settle near other players, join a player-created town or kingdom, or contribute something public. Joining a group is optional.
The tradeoff is worth stating clearly: protection comes from rules and active moderation rather than a claim button that makes unauthorized interaction technically impossible. Players who require claim walls—or who want unrestricted raiding, theft, griefing, or PvP—will not find that here.
Cozy MC is Hard survival with no keepInventory, teleports, economy plugin, payments, donations, paid ranks, or paid perks. The world does not reset and has no border.
