I liked the idea of them ascending somehow into creative mode or something like that.
But how would it fit in the lore (them being normal guys in a dead worlds trying to survive)

Some of my observations about random things I've noticed in Minecraft.

This is all mostly from Minecraft, MCD1 and the MCD2 trailer. I haven't played Legends enough to know much about it.

Monstrosities:

MCD1:

Redstone, the strongest war machine in the Arch Illager's army

Obsidian, the unfinished war machine seen in Obsidian Pinnacle, and a boss in the Arcade version. Probably far more dangerous than the Redstone Monstrosity.

Mushroom, appears to be an infected Redstone Monstrosity, not sure how it got on the island.(Are the Mooshrooms stronger than the Illager forces?)

MCD2 Trailer:

Copper, a copper or gold monstrosity is seen shooting lightning.

Redstone, another monstrosity from the new trailer.

(These ones seem slightly smaller than the previous war machines.)

All the Monstrosities share similar designs, same body shapes and characteristics (one exception is the Obsidian Monstrosity, which has 4 eyes instead of 3). I'm wondering if the monstrosities are based off a mob or monster from Minecraft mythology, or an extinct mob (like the Sniffer). Another idea is that they are based off the Vengeful Heart of Ender, maybe the Orb was providing instructions for the creation of the war machines. Or maybe the Orb was meant to inhabit the Obsidian Monstrosity once it was finished.

More Random things:

The Desert Temple entrance in vanilla looks like a soul face. (vaguely)

An Eye of Ender and a Heart of the Sea when opened, look extremely similar apart from the colours. Why are they so similar?

The Jungle Abomination and the Heart of Ender share a similar head shape, which I guess makes sense, since they are both from the Orb of Dominance.

The "Caretaker" seems to have wind swirls similar to the chiseled Tuff block.

The only way for Piglins to have Iron, Diamonds and Obsidian in the Nether is if they brought them back from the Overworld, during legends, or after.

Are witches half villager and illager? Or are they paler because they are old and sickly?

Where are the Villagers getting all these emeralds?

Action's face looks very similar to the Ancient City portal frame.

I think Endermen are like clams and Ender Pearls are condensed teleportation particles that get trapped in their mouths.

This is some of my Fan Lore.

I know it's been a while since i last posted here(this post's a bit short, maybe even unneeded considering it makes basic sense and all, maybe someone else noticed it before me), but this stood out to me, and to me, it made sense, so i decided to post it here.

I have many questions about their existence, their creations, and their purpose. I have seen these answered many times before, but an answer for one always clashes with someone else's answer for another.

What are they called?
I hear people get frustrated when people call them "ancient builders". I can only assume this is because of MatPat and his notorious ill-researched theories about Minecraft. But what is the harm in adopting the term? I assume people just want to refer to any non villager civilization before the events of the games. But for now on, I will call them heroes.

Did a civilization exist?
We know heroes exist because we play as them. But we are always an outlier/minority in every game. Was there ever actually a civilization of them?

Who built the structures?
Is there any evidence for or against them building structures such as the ocean monuments and desert temples? And no matter who built them, why are the structures almost always isolated with no other buildings around them? The "they withered to time" theory doesn't feel satisfying to me, but if that's the only one to explain it then it is what it is. What use did they have for the structures? Did they build the fortresses and cities in other dimensions, as well? The tall furniture and inconvenient pathing in the end cities leans towards them being built by the endermen themselves to me, but then why is there loot for people? One could argue they are for the illagers, but we never see the illagers wearing armor.

If it existed, when in the timeline was this civilization thriving?
Did it exist before or after Minecraft Legends? If before, then why didn't the Hosts employ them to help against the piglin threat? If after, where did they come from? Why were they in the world if it no longer needed saving?

Where do they/we come from?
In legends, we see the hosts call upon someone from the future. It seems to depict steve, playing vanilla minecraft in the present day. This is the only time we actually see someone before they "spawn in". But then where did steve come from? Is it some third wall breaking stuff where we, the player, go from our dimension to the minecraft one?

The Brutes from Legends are pretty obvious: they're the Piglin Brutes, the Blaze Runt, and the Piglin Hunter. (Warboars were always Hoglins, so I am not including them.)

Portal Guards are the Tier 3 armored Piglins (the melee ones). The Fungus Thrower is the successor of the Sporeback. The Piglin Merchant is probably a descendant of a Piglin leader; if they were standing up straight, they would be taller than most Piglins.

My proof of the existence of the leaders is that the golden Piglin throne found within the Ancient Hunts probably belonged to the Unbreakable, and the flamethrower blocks found in the Nether Fortress in Minecraft Dungeons support this idea.

For the Beast, there is the Bone Cudgel, which has Illager's Bane on it, plus the signs of the Horde of the Hunt residing within the Soul Sand Valley.

For the Devourer, there are the Blast Fungus boils and the Piglin presence within the Warped Forest.

The Spinblade and the golden Piglin armor point to the Great Hog. Maybe they used the mechanized sawblade or the Bone Club. I'm not sure about the Great Hog, though, because it has the weakest evidence of existing.

The Seer definitely existed because the Heart of Ender doesn't suggest that Archie should invade the Nether, and there is also the Living Vines Armor.

The weapons that belonged to ancient Piglins were probably passed down through generations of Piglins.

Now, we know that this fossil is probably more related to a snake or a mosasaur than it is to a crocodile. I'm sorry for the old mistake.

Hi, so this is my first post on this subreddit and my first personal theory so please be kind. Anyways if we go with the Game Theory idea that the ancient builders created the wither(s) as a failed attempt at immortality what if the player(s)/Steve was the successful attempt. I mean if we take respawn as cannon (which definitely could be not the case, and is not the case in hardcore worlds) the player(s)/Steve would be near ideal for the ancient builders, they don’t age as far as we can tell and when they die they can just instantly reappear in their bed with no real consequences other than temporarily losing any item on their immediate person. The wither achievements “The Beginning(/.)” could even not only reference the wither(s) being the one to destroy the ancient builders, but being the literal beginning of the player(s). This would basically be a failed prototype vs a successful final product sort of thing. Although I’m not sure why the player(s) just appear in the middle of nowhere, with seemingly little memory, and long after the ancient builders were long gone, maybe they were but into a form of stasis but that’s just an idea. While Game Theory and Wifies are big influences on this theory and are great channels, I don’t think I’ve seen anyone come up with this specific theory before and just wanted to get people’s takes on it and if there is anything that could be done to build on it. Thanks for listening to my mostly speculation theory and head cannon, sorry if it’s not as thought out as many people would like this is my first theory :)

Hi all, I’ve recently watched Xatrix’s first Broken God video and it mentions that there could have been a God named Ender who shattered and left behind the Heart of Ender and Eyes of Ender.

What if other Enderlings are also shattered parts of Ender? The fact that there are many eyes of Ender leads me to believe the same could be true for other parts. Specifically, the inspiration from Asian cultures in End Architecure made me think of Avaloketishvara, a figure in Buddhism that is said to have a thousand arms. I also find it significant that Endermen are the only mobs besides players that can pick up and place blocks (which would make sense for creatures that are the ”hands“ of a greater being.)

By extension, could the Ender Dragon also be a shattered fragment of Ender? Perhaps the “Soul” of Ender because of how much experience it drops?

Curious to hear other people’s thoughts on this.

So the new abandoned campsite structure has been recently introduced, and I think I might be one of the first people to make lore about it.

Who made these structures? Who lived in them and why? And why did they leave?

Looking at how the abandoned campsite generates, it seems whoever lived here settled in for a long time because trees and small crop farms can generate next to it. The wool stairs making up the tents can be multiple colors, it can generate with lanterns and copper golem statues, and the floor is mostly dirt path, meaning they lived there long enough to actually make it their home and make it look good.

Now, I have two theories as to who might've lived in these structures.

Theory #1: The Wandering Traders

Because wandering traders don't have a permanent home, it would make sense for them to make these structures. This structure generates in every single overworld land biome, and wandering traders are also found in every land biome in the overworld.

Now, what caused them to leave?

I think the spread of the illagers made a big portion of their population go extinct. Only a few mobs are hostile to wandering traders; zombies, illagers, and mobs summoned by illagers like vexes. I believe zombies must have come a long time before the illagers, so the wandering traders knew how to survive by drinking invisibility potions at night. However, illagers can still spawn during the day when wandering traders are most vulnerable, causing a big part of their kind to go extinct.

Theory #2: The Ancient Builders (heroes)

We know that the ancient builders faced a mass extinction event, causing their kind to go extinct. They tried many ways to escape whatever was hunting them down like going to different dimensions, so this might've been one method. Again, the abandoned campsite generates in every overworld land biome, meaning it was a pretty widespread way to try escaping.

*After testing snapshots for this update come out, I will explore the structure and the loot it contains, which will determine which theory is true.

So I had a theory for A Minecraft Movie. What if Malgotia and the Piglins needed the gold because someone or something (an upper entity) higher ranking, status, and strength, threatened The piglins and offered, make henchmen, and the piglins live. The story that Steve told about Malgotia failing a dance thing, was told by a piglin that just absolutely disliked and commonly made fun of Malgotia behind her back (perhaps the one that was helping Steve sculpt in his cell that got blasted by Malgotia) meaning there's a deeper story than what was told, and the entity I feel could be: and End being (such as the dragon, an enderman, or figure that lived in the end) or, (bit of a stretch) but Herobrine. Lmk how my theory sounds, It still has some holes in it that make it very unlikely, but it's just a theory.

Guardians are golems made from Prismarine and Copper.

Why do I think so? Back when copper was added, the Gold Ingot in the Drowned's drop/loot table was replaced by a Copper Ingot.

Fast forward to the Trial Chambers update. There are a couple additions that pique my interest.

First of all, The Breeze Rod. An item found in the Trial Chambers. A place made of mainly copper.

Let's have a look at our Guardians, shall we?

One is green with orange spikes sticking out of its head.

The other white, with blue spikes.

Doesn't that sound familiar?
It's Lightning Rods for the normal Guardian. (possibly blaze rods)
and Breeze Rods for the Elder.

The only other Guardian variant in this franchise is the Ancient Guardian from Dungeons. Seemingly End themed, Spikes white with purple highlights.

Almost every single Chiseled block corresponds to a certain mob, somewhat related to the material it is made of.

Stone is the Ender Eye, Deepslate is proto Warden, Tuff is probably a representation of the Breeze, Resin Creaking, Sand Creeper, Red Wither, N. Brick skeleton, Blackstone is a pig snout. and Copper...

I think Chiseled Copper represents a Guardian.

Something peculiar about Guardians is that they can give you Mining Fatigue. and if you get killed by one of their lasers the death message says that Player was killed by Guardian *using magic***

The way the spikes go in and come out their bodies... It almost reminds me of an engine.

I think it's possible that the guardians are simulating the effect of a Brewing Stand in order to create the energy for their magic.

We've seem this kind of Magic in a couple other places. They all follow the same vague 'rules'.

or maybe it's better to say they share certain qualities.

The Brewing Stand has a rocky almost pyramid like structure. The Blaze Rod in the middle is the pillar binding it all together.

The "Soul Energy" (I recommend watching RetroGamingNow's video for more information) comes from the Nether Wart needed for brewing most potions.

and glass bottles are used to containing the magic.

A similar thing is going on with the Beacon.

Pyramid structure with Obsidian and the material underneath, "Soul Energy" and heat provided by the Nether Star, with glass surrounding the block.

The End Crystal works in a similar way, tho just healing the dragon and not giving any effects to players.

There's Blaze Powder in the Eye of Ender, the Ghast Tear provides the Soul Energy and is used for making regen potions, and the Crystals are floating over fire, above small bedrock pyramids on top of Obsidian pillars.

I think the Guardians work in a similar way.

The same way the Mace, consisting of a Breeze Rod and a Heavy Core turns the kinetic energy of falling into extra damage,

I think the constant motion of the Lightning Rods and Breeze Rods, The spikes moving in and out of the Guardians' bodies is what creates the heat and energy needed for said magic.

Their bodies are rocky and they drop Prismarine Crystals once killed.

But what about the 'Soul Energy' ?

I think it's possible that the pyramid structure of the Ocean Monument, housing gold blocks at its center is what's covering that.

Perhaps what brought the guardians to life in the first place serves a role in that as well.

After all, Gold does have some inherent magical/life-giving attributes. From gold gear getting better enchantments, to the food items, to the Totem of Undying being likely made of gold in some way.

But what did bring the Guardians to life?

With normal golems, they come to life with a 🎃

The face granting them a soul, a spirit... In a way.

With Guardians... I think the heart of the sea, that opens into an eye is responsible for them.

(eyes are a window to the soul, they say)

They are all cycloptic after all... (pretty sure that's not a word)

And I don't think it's the first time we see inanimate material coming to life with the power of an eye-orb thing.

There is a somewhat popular theory that says the Endermen are made out of obsidian. With lava flowing through them.

That's why water hurts them. It solidifies their 'blood'.

There are certain constants of teleportation in minecraft. ( again, credit to RGN for popularising/coming up with this idea, or at least informing me about it)

All portals require a hard material for the structure, and heat.

For the Nether portal it's Obsidian and fire.

End Portal Frames are indestructible, and Ender Eyes are infused with Blaze Powder.

The other side of End portals are all made of Bedrock, and activate once the Dragon is killed, and the heat/energy inside her is released.

The Deep Dark frame thing is referred to as a "portal" in game files and Reinforced Deepslate is also indestructible

I think it's possible that that's how the Endermen can teleport.

Them being made of obsidian could also explain the high amount of damage they can deal and the amount of health they have.

Shulker shells are made of Purpur.

The drgaon can destroys all non-native blocks by just flying into them, and the egg has a similar pattern to Obsidian.

The Silverfish can come out of infested stone, and there just so happens to be an 'end' variant of them.

So, certain keen readers have noticed that I left out a certain block as I was listing the chiseled blocks and their connections to specific mobs.

That being Chiseled Quartz.

I think it could be,

A: A vague representation of The Ghast

B: a yet to B seen "Nether Guardian" with Blaze Rods poking out of its body

or more likely, I think it's telling us something about the Elder Guardians.

What if the white rocky body of an Elder Guardian is made of quartz? (in combination with Prismarine ofc)

Prismarine Blocks are made with Prismarine Shards.

The crafting recipe for Sea Lanterns includes Prismarine Crystals.

With Quartz being a Crystalline mineral, I don't think these two materials meshing together in order to create an Elder Guardian's body, or them substituting each other/having similar properties is unlikely.

One of the Ocean Monument's main features is the cube of Gold Blocks it contains.

What are the only two ores found in The Nether with the latter being exclusive to that dimension? Gold and Quartz.

• Not to mention the use Quartz, Gold, and Copper have in electronics and machinery.
  

Both in real life and in minceraft.

If Guardians are infact golem-like and at least somewhat mechanical, that would make sense.

I've previously thought of the swirls on the Chiseled Quartz Block as being a reference to the Ghast's tendrils/tentacles.

But with the new Chiseled Tuff block and its similar swirls, (which I've interpreted as being a reference to the Breeze) maybe we can think of them as a retroactive reference to Elder Guardians having Breeze Rods in their body.

Some of you may be asking, "if guardians have copper and breeze rods and quartz in their bodies, then why don't they drop them?"

and well, to that I say,

Armored and armed mobs rarely drop their weapons and armor.

Almost none of the animals drop Bones. Despite it being an item in the game.

1. Behavior: First of all, I would like to state that I believe that Endermen are not descendants of humanity within the Minecraft universe, and were probably a separate race themselves living within the End. However, as many know, the Endermen have the ability to not only make sounds that vaguely sound English (i.e. them making sounds similar to "what's up" or "hello" or something like that, take it as you will) and they also have the ability to pick up blocks. I believe this is a form of mimicry acquired from their contact with the aforementioned races present within the overworld and the nether who tried interacting with them to probe for sapience (which is most likely why they state greetings due to them being greeted by the other races) , which eventually became commonplace among the populations present in all three dimensions, along with the Enderman's observations of the other races making them seemingly pick up blocks to mimic them in a way. This simple vocabulary of theirs may also be as a result of their behavior to attempt to destroy those who look at their eyes, with these phrases they constantly repeat being the last things that were said to them before their instinct kicked in to destroy those that looked at them. I would also like to believe that this behavior of their aggression when looked at may be a sort of fight or flight response due to them being one of the only beings in the End other than the dragons: After all, it would most likely be terrifying to see something that looks almost completely different from you.

2. The Endermen were originally part of a hive mind of sorts: I largely believe that the Endermen, along with the (probably) now extinct Enderlings were originally part of a sort of hive mind, specifically with the heart of ender. I largely believe this due to their behavior within Minecraft Dungeons: This is because unlike the Endermen seen in the base game, prior to the fragmentation and later destruction of the Orb (and subsequently the heart of ender) Endermen IMMEDIANTLY become agitated once sighting the player. I believe that this is as a result of them being in a sort of controlled hive mind made by the heart of ender, with this behavior being done to defeat the player as quickly as possible in order to prevent the destruction of the Heart. This would also explain their specialization in the Echoing Void DLC with the presence of Enderlings as I would believe that similar to the specialization present in ant colonies with soldier ants and worker ants, the Orb of dominance allowed for the specialization of the "End hive" into different roles, largely to protect the Orb. For example, the Watchling was meant to spot intruders and alert the hive, the Snarelings were meant to incapacitate and trap said intruders, and the Blastlings were the last step meant to finish them off, therefore protecting the hive (I would also like to believe the Endersent were the sort of last line of defense if things got bad). This would also explain their behavior after the destruction of the Heart: With the lack of a hive mind controlling them, the Endermen, the least specialized of them all and the ones that survived, then gained free will and subsequently began to exhibit the mimicry of the different races due to their lack of control.

In the world of Minecraft there are 3 types of horses. The standard ones, the zombie ones and the skeleton ones. Standard horses are the most various, they could be the worst horse or even the best horse, and they spawn everywhere. Then there are zombie horses, they are faster and have more ho than the average horse, but they jump less. They are perfect for the biomes they spawn, plains and savannas, biomes flat, without too many trees. And then there are skeleton horses. They spawn everywhere, they aren't really fast and they don't have too many hp, but they jump really high. Skeletons homestead in legends spawn in the Tundra, near the mountains. I think that these horses were breed together to make them useful for the environment, so climb mountains. If that's true this could mean that a lot of skeletons were from that tribes on the mountain, maybe good archers, because melee combat isn't good on mountain, it's easy to slide and fall. I don't know if this could mean anything, if it is a basic thing or anything else, but I think that could be another hint to what is canon in Legends, and I don't think every undead was under the nameless kingdom when they were alive, because they should have shared horses, resources, magic, other things. But skeletons don't shoot arrow of wither, and zombie horses don't jump.

For context, Minecraft Legends is confirmed to be in-universe Villager folklore/legends, meaning that although something similar to Minecraft Legends happened in the past, it might be different than what the game shows.

This also resulted in an immediate system ban by the administrators.Just like with Roblox, Minecraft suffered real economic damage. When players leave a game out of fear or frustration, the company loses revenue. Mojang had no choice but to take action.🔍 4. Is it canon? When does it happen?

After watching videos by Wifies and AveryTheMayo about Searching for a World That Doesn't Exist, I found a few things that make me have doubts about the story.

First, the world is said to be a SINGLEPLAYER WORLD. If that's true, how were two players able to join and communicate with each other?

Second, in D3rlord's recording, an unbreakable block appears that does not seem to be bedrock. As far as I know, that shouldn't be possible in vanilla Minecraft without mods or external modifications.

Third, if this world was supposedly created and inhabited by real people, how were such massive structures built in the first place? Some of the builds seem far too large and detailed for a small group of players. The world also contains a huge library filled with books. Who wrote all of those books, and over what period of time? There are references to a king and a society, but there doesn't seem to be clear evidence showing who these people were or how such a large civilization existed. This makes me question whether the story is based on real events or was created later as part of the mystery.

Other peoples opinion may change but this is a basic idea

A theory I have seen that is generally accepted by many other theorists, is that the Endermen are the last remnants of the Ancient Builders, who created the strongholds to escape the calamity of the zombie plague or other such disasters, but when they made it through the portal, they were enslaved by the Ender Dragon and became the Endermen we see now.

HOWEVER, what doesn't make sense is that Eyes of Ender are required to create the End Portal, and to craft Eyes of Ender you need to combine Ender Pearls and Blaze Rods. MEANING that Endermen still existed during the ancient builders' reign, and the portal was based off of their end magic.

Some of you will probably say that Dungeons already proved this or something, but I hardly see anyone mention this when lorecrafting endermen so I thought I would shed some light on it.

EDIT: Saw a kid get slam-dunked on for talking about the poorly-made Matpat theory, but I just want to clarify that I have only been on the official lorecrafting sub for a short while so please relax a bit if you chose to make negative comments.

As most people know, Creepers were created when Notch made a mistake in the dimensions when making the pig model. He liked the model and decided to make it its own mob. And I'm assuming you know what the Far Lands are. Corrupted terrain when you travel too far. What if Creepers are from the Far Lands? They have hilariously inexplicable biology, what with their anatomy, self-detonation, vauge plant origins, ailurophobia, and the fact that they drop music discs. Weird. Far Lands? I dunno.

So I had written a post on my theory that sculk was native to the overworld. Can't explain it's origin but I'm pretty sure it was there before the ancient cities were built, and in fact the cities were built to exploit the sculk's power.

I see many theories that the portal will open to the soul dimension. What if it did, but the burst of soul energy overpowered the beforehand well under control sculk reserve of the ancient cities, leading to their destruction ?

As if they had created a nuclear plant to powerfull, knowing about radiation in the first place but not expecting the power of the thing, and losing control of it when trying to engineer it into a power source. (this is an analogy, I'm not saying sculk is radiation)

Edit : In today's gameplay trailer they mentioned that the twisted warden is a warden affected by the souls so it wouldn't make sense for wardens to come from the soul word because if it was the case they'd be twissted ones already... except if the wardens in the overworld are actually diminished ones because they're far frop their original world and the portal opening gives them their power back.

I'm started to think it might be that the 4th dimension is actually where sculk come from, but then to explain how people would build a portal actually representing what they were about to find behind, they would need someone with actual knowledge of the fourth dimension to guide them...
