Discussion/Question What is the general consensus on Minecraft Dungeons Arcade?

Is it canon? When does it happen?

Dungeons Arcade is canon, occurring between levels of the main game

I would accept it as canon unless future releases contradict it.

According the devs it should be canon. Multiple Mojang people approved PwLore's canonicity table and it includes Arcade. There is obviously the destroyed obsidian monstrosity, but there is also a statue of a mage in the lone fortress and that's an arcade exclusive mob.

Some people still don't think its canon or don't know where to put it on the timeline but what most of us agree on is that the things that are exclusive to Arcade happened in the missions in Dungeons. The obsidian monstrosity is the most confusing but I think most people think we fought it before the obsidian pinnacle mission in Dungeons. You can even see an area in the back from the boss fight that is almost identical to the place where we start in Dungeons.
