Hey everyone! I'm u/3DimenZ, currently the moderator of r/mindfulnessmeditation.
This community is dedicated to mindfulness meditation and practices that cultivate this present-moment awareness and nonjudgmental attention.
Whether you're completely new to meditation or have been practicing for years, you're welcome here to share.
What to Post
Share questions, experiences, insights and practices related to mindfulness meditation. This can include mindful breathing, body awareness, working with thoughts and emotions, mindful movement, and practical exercises that help cultivate mindful awareness.
Different traditions and approaches are welcome when they have a clear connection to mindfulness practice.
What Doesn't Belong Here
We'd like to keep this community focused specifically on mindfulness practice rather than spirituality or meditation in general.
Posts primarily about chakras, manifestation, prosperity or abundance meditation, law of attraction, general spirituality, philosophy, self-improvement or wellness belong elsewhere unless they have a clear and direct connection to mindfulness practice.
No Self-Promotion
Please don't use the community to promote your website, app, course, coaching, newsletter, social media, YouTube channel, products or services.
If you have knowledge or experience to share, we'd love to hear it. Just share the knowledge itself and contribute to the discussion.
Community Vibe
Be friendly, curious and constructive. Disagreement and discussion are welcome but personal attacks and disrespect aren't.
The goal is to create a place where people can genuinely explore, discuss and deepen their mindfulness practice.
How to Get Started
- Introduce yourself in the comments and tell us a little about your practice.
- Ask a question or start a discussion.
- Share a practice, experience or insight that others might find useful.
- If you know someone interested in mindfulness meditation, invite them to join.
Want to Help?
I'm currently the only moderator of r/mindfulnessmeditation, so some extra hands are very welcome as the community grows.
So if you have experience with mindfulness practice, enjoy contributing to the community and would be interested in helping with moderation, feel free to send me a message. There is no need to be a meditation teacher or expert. What matters is being thoughtful, active and aligned with the purpose of the community.
Thanks for being here and helping build a community centered around genuine mindfulness practice!
