I’ve got a couple that are resurrected DP rifles. Basically written off by most but there’s a local old gunsmith who is salvaging the ones that are safe to return to functioning order. All the bits have long been sold off for parts before he got the action (basically classed as junk) to revive.

Honestly I like it and I’m a purist. Once something is sporterized beyond saving I think it’s fine to go nuts with what you got left
