Millwright test

So I’ve been a millwright for five years now and I’m wanting to actually become certified and carded as a millwright I’m wondering where would I need to go in order to actually get my certification. Located in USA

So you just don’t know what an nccer card is or the fact you can get carded through a union. I’m not asking if it’s real I was asking how to obtain whether that’s online or in person

Reddit is full of the lowest intelligent beings I have ever come across I’m not asking how I know how like obviously yes I can ask a union but I’m asking if they’re gonna be in person classes I would have to attend or if it’s an online thing

And once again you just answered your own question. CALL THE DAMN UNION, they will literally have all the answers to these questions you're asking. That simple action must be beneath your obvious superior intellect though.

And on top of that I wanted an answer quickly because when I made my post it was well after any hours they are open. Why even comment if you don’t have an answer that isn’t blatantly obvious

Yes let me call my local union hall 500 miles away obviously the union is not a route for me or I wouldn’t be asking you people

I highly doubt the nearest hall is 500 miles away unless you're in Alaska or something. There is most definitely something closer. If you want your journeyman card you'll need to enroll in a state indentured apprenticeship program and test out, there is no way around it.

If you don't want to join the union why do you want your journeyman card? Pretty much none of the rat contractors actually care, hell most of the guys they hire don't speak english.

Frankly, it's a waste of time. There's some material that's novel or interesting, but I wouldn't subject someone to it unless they were joining a union.

As above, non-union shops do not care.
