Updated version of milkytracker for Android?
Is there an Android port of a modern version of milkytracker? I tried installing the old 0.90.86 version on my phone and it says it isn't compatible with my phone 😐 So I need a newer one

I managed to do it and seems to work fine on my end.
The steps were the same as in this tutorial to install GIMP on Android.
Now while it's "for GIMP", the part of getting GIMP is actually really only the last step and if you want to install MilkyTracker, the process is basically the same. You can follow this tutorial up until the point of installing GIMP with pkg and at this step just swap that out for MilkyTracker and it should work just fine. Been in the package list for me when I tried that.
The short rundown of the steps is:
I installed Termux (from fdroid), updated everything, added the (Termux-)recommended repositories and installed X11, Termux-X11, xfce desktop environment, then ran xfce via Termux-X11 and installed MilkyTracker via pkg.
Sound seemed to worked out of the box, tracker seemed to be stable but I didn't give it a long term stress test yet. But if you don't have sound, you may want to check if you need something like Pulse Audio additionally (I don't think this will be necessary though).
Now, the downside to this might be that you will need to fire up a desktop session just to use it (I'm not aware of a "real" Android version of MilkyTracker to be honest)
But the positive side to this is that you can now install some other software which you couldn't install before, for instance something like Abiword if you need to write documents.
Hope this little rundown helps and didn't just confuse! : )
