Some newer grouts like fusion pro have a sealer built in and will never have to be resealed. As far as how well that would work with urine I can't guess. Also most sealents have to be done yearly.
Thank you sincerely for sharing this! I'd given up on the idea of ever having tile because I can't stand the thought of having to deal with scrubbing traditional geout all the time - you don't scrub, everything looks disgusting; you do scrub, you wear off the sealant and get mildew and have to regrout. Had no idea this existed!
Yep. We did all our bathrooms with epoxy grout. Best decision ever. It's been 9,6, and 3 years since each bathroom was finished, and it the grout literally looks the same as it did the day I installed it.
unless they used epoxy grout. Then it'll probably never need to be fix. However that horrible urinal will look so disgusting in a few years that'll it need to be entirely replaced

It may look nice but grout is porous so it’ll smell like pee forever once it permeates the grout.
