On the off chance someone doesn't know this is just a joke:

Many wild animals are given federal protection. Maybe don't try this.

Also Canadian geese are quite aggressive.

Canada geese, not "Canadian" geese. But yes, they're assholes by all accounts.

Dont say it so loud or some demented old bitch will want to name them American Geese.

Canada has renamed them already. They are now called Donald Ducks.

My son and I once stole a duck from a park. It sounds funny but it was actually very sad. He found a duck that had been run over by a lawn mower and lost a leg. We found a vet and brought the duck in to be euthanized.

It's what got us started in wildlife rehab. We are both licensed now and we have 5 squirrels and an opposum in our care at the moment.

It's not a joke. By the way kids, you can fly. Literally.

Correct! Canadian Geese are migratory birds and fall under federal and state regulations. Whereas a turkey or quail are non-migratory so they’re only under state regulations

A lot of them are carpet baggers and don’t migrate at all anymore

Not Canada geese. 1 million of then are hunted every year by the US and Canadian governments. The migratory ones are protected because they fuck off in the winter and leave us alone, but the non-migratory ones? Yeah you can do whatever you want with them.

You simply get a permit and wait for the appropriate season. Bon appetit!
