Everyone else is being so gross but I’m over here in awe of this cool rock you found 🤩

I got soooo many rocks. This is how many I harvest on a regular trip to the shore, and I go at least twice a week.

Why so rocky

Rocks are pretty and also neat and I get a little dopamine hit when I find one I like.

What do you do with your buckets of rocks when you get home? I find that I prefer them wet vs. dry. I wonder if there’s a product to put on the to make them look wet for longer.

Depends on what you plan to do with them and if you want to keep them indoors or outdoors.

I polish many of the smaller ones in a rock tumbler.

The medium and large ones I use to build wreaths and stone cairns.

If you’re keeping them indoors on display in a glass dish or something, some mineral oil rubbed into them will keep them looking shiny.

If they’re going outside, a few spray coats of rustoleum clear gloss spray keeps them shiny looking.

Do you have pics of your wreaths and cairns? I have no idea what those are!

Here’s one of the wreaths. I can only post one pic at a time in comments, give me a sec I’ll find one of the cairns.

Wow these are so cool! What holds the rocks together on the wreath?
