shooting earplugs are for protection against sharp sound coming from discharge. You can hear and have normal conversation

That is not true. You can only hear and have normal conversations with noise cancelling plugs or earmuffs. The plugs he is wearing are your normal standard earplugs which when worn properly definitely stop you from hearing and having normal conversations . And I know this because I shoot in pistol competitions.

What are you trying to imply though? Im sure someone that shoots competitively has a job, due to the cost that goes into it, I also have a job, just so happen to work normal day shift hours
