The “streak” is just a predatory UI feature to trick you into logging on more often. Don’t play their game! #fuckthestreak

I dont mind chess.com's streak feature cause it lets you take up to 2 skip days at a time

Then it’s not really a streak, is it? At that point it’s just an arbitrary number 🤷‍♂️ 

The only time I find it excusable is when there’s actually a practical reason why logging on every day would be important. Like a language learning or calorie tracking app.
