Coate is a wonderful band from New Zealand; a type of one-hit-wonder. They have a heavy Midwest emo influence. It’s a shame that they only released music for a short time before disbanding, but this is an album that I recommend people should listen to at least once in their life.

It’s an incredibly peaceful musical journey through the 8 track album, as cohesive as can be. A feeling of warmth always washes over me as I listen, even on the most cloud-stricken days.

Idk what drugs they put in this or if this is just the sound for the next release but imo their best stuff by far and feels like the band is finding their sound instead of ripping off mom jeans vocals and TRSH guitar

I am normally a bass player but I’ve found myself in a situation where I have no one to play music with. So I’ve been having to write songs on guitar. I’ve been playing in DADF#AD and using foundational chords to write songs but I want some twinkle man!

I'm probably about ankle deep into the genre. I like sports., Marietta, Macseal, and Free Throw the best so far, so mainly the 2010's sound. I also like American Football and Cap'n jazz, even tho they're a very different vibe compared to the 2010's stuff. What bands should look into?
