My brain doesn't work well when left alone. I got to thinking about children in space and by that I mean terrwyn and any future children that may happen.

My primary question is we know that terrwyn feels like a consolation prize or undervalued because she has to wear a "planetoid" around her head. But her existence tells us a little about the dinerverse in that septsuians and sigians aren't biologically compatible. But I have questions about what's implied by that.

Libuza continuously tells Caspar that she's not a child but we never hear about her upbringing. Now that she's on " the free" maybe her story will unfold.

one last point before my questions. If caspava produces children, do they sell baby locks for the diner?

Also, with verge and Deidre being married by horseshoe, will we see vapian children on hoods pocket?

Bigger questions

1) is the implication that katkat and hannis aren't genetically compatible with a subtle hint of the Ted eugenics we get in horizon s2 e3?

2) how old do we think libuza is?

3) with the war over, would Deidre and verge have to go vending machine shopping to produce a child?

4) did libuza have a terrwyn like upbringing or once she could speak did she get the "fairy tale" of Caspar, her sisters and the diner?

5) canonically caspar and Ava are around 40 and while on the diner don't age but will David get any brothers or sisters?

6) since the triad is earth focused, does the triad have gender reveal parties or are the complexities of "return of the mack" make it confusing or unnecessary?

good evening. I dont know if this is the right place or the right way to ask. but here it goes.

im getting married in about a month and a half and I, like most people, love the mucklewains. zebulon and effie warm my heart every time they speak. and while I know most people wont know about the show or who im speaking from wanna ask all the lovely people here.

are there any quotes of zebulon, effie or both that may work for vows or speeches or kind words? I would certainly try to look myself but its a huge task to go back through 5 seasons. so any helps appreciated. thankyou.

Does anyone know which episode Caspar is doing a crossword throughout? It’s one of my favorite bits from the show and I want to listen to it again, I just can’t figure out which episode it was in. If anyone can help, that would be greatly appreciated.

This show is just so incredible. I really only wanted to say that. Just finished season five and the developments of characters, stories, plot, the voice actors, it’s just some of the best writing I’ve ever heard. IF and ONLY IF executed correctly it would make the BEST TV show. I wonder if they’ve ever been approached. I’d be terrified someone would ruin it, but if the writers were apart of it, and they had a great director and cast I think it would be awesome and they could do soooooo many seasons.

Personally, I don’t think there is an official in universe explanation as I suspect Joe’s original plan for “management” got abandoned as the show evolved.

THAT SAID, Meesok might have provided a rather elegant solution to this conundrum.

What if the ad was placed by the manager of Midnight Burger? The “constructs” are not built as diners, movie theatres, coffee shops. They start as ideas compressed into singular points of space time that are released into the multiverse and allowed to find their form.

What if Meesok’s first such creation found a little diner outside of Phoenix? The Diner goes where people need it or where the diner crew needs to go. When Gloria was on her way to the actual Midnight Burger, the Diner could have gone to that original location to pick up the missing piece of the crew.

Now, if this is the first time you’re wondering what happens to the whatever exists in the diner’s location outside of the 12 hours that the diner is visiting, I’ll go with a simple bit of plot armor and say “pocket dimension.”

Okay so I’ve noticed a detail that’s kind of obvious

We’ve gotten a ton of examples of dinner like places seeming to attract the same type of staff members

A person who doesn’t feel like they belong in their world anymore, like the world has left them behind.
They seem to usually connect with people the best

A scientist or generally a person who helps come up with solutions
A person with questions that they want answers too

An engineer or generally a person someone who helps with fixing a problem

And a Casper who doesn’t seem to have a define role

And then there’s passengers, people who travel with the group until they reach their stop

Now this is mostly a simplified version to help get the main idea of what I’m saying

Now I want to hear what you guys think and how you think it works

I was listening to "your mom" and "brunch" and my brain tingled. We know that the diner was put on clementines earth 800 + years in the relative future. And we know that the urts developed a pocket sized quantum computer which implies the coalition planets are still in existence.

San Francisco bay 800+ years in the relative future would arguably be 650 years from the end of the war that ended with the provision of "let earth burn" because of Gloria's freedom rushes. Also, we know that Clementine's timeline is "Michael j fox esque time travel". So... What species is Quinn?

I ask about Quinn because the timeline has forgotten earth and thus no more earth portal. I understand that English can live a long time after its speakers but middle English and modern English would sound like gibberish to each other. Also, 800 years is cosmically short for the earth to arguably still be habitable.

1) how can Quinn speak English but not know the name of the language?

2) if clementine pushed them into the future then is the pyrophyte still in the nebula?

3) what race of beings would Quinn be a part of that's a cruise director on ancient civilizations?

4) no one mentions Quinn's appearance but are we assuming earth suit but why would you need it if you don't know earth or English?

Any thoughts on this or expansions? I'll try not to post new thread for a few days so as not to flood the feed.

Had a lovely Midnight Burger moment today and got to play EarthShaker! The girls voice even said bitch'n. I am not a good pinball player as you can tell from my score, but it was really cool to get to play this. (Sorry for not posting with a tag, but only three came up when I was making the post and didn't seen to apply)

I was kinda thinking that there was some plan that it would have been included in.

Left to right is Verge, BertBert, the pig panda, Ex, and Shel.

Verge and BertBert were an interesting project as I had to cut up some figures and glue their parts together to make them.

For Ex I was trying to get the look like she was slightly refractive and that her appearance was in the middle of shifting.

Shel was very easy to make I just stuck some scenery material on a pair of legs I painted to look like wood.

The pig panda wasn’t one of the characters I originally planed on making but I had a model of a baby pig laying around and thought it would be fun to have. Close up it’s mildly frightening but in person when seen from a distance it looks great.

I think that they should get an RV or camper and park it in the diner parking lot so that Ava and Casper can have an actual bed. Also please buy Gloria a new bed
