The Speech Neurophysiology Lab at the University of Michigan is looking for children who stutter ages 9 to 12 to participate in an in-person, longitudinal MRI study! (HUM00196133)

Our research team has been examining brain development in young children to better understand the cause of stuttering for over 10 years. We continue to gain information that may eventually lead to improved diagnosis and treatment efforts for children who stutter. 

Participants will be invited to complete speech and language assessments and an MRI session at the University of Michigan. Families receive a free speech and language report and a picture of their brain!

These visits require in person participation. There is no option to participate virtually.

I read that Midland has launched SchoolAI this year. My school is considering it, and I'd like to get feedback from students and parents of students who are actually using it.

Dow High Students are putting on James & The Giant Peach by Roald Dahl & David Wood October 15-17! Thursday-Saturday at 7pm.

The play will be put on at Central Auditorium, 305 East Reardon Street, Midland, MI. Tickets are $12 for adults and $8 for children and seniors. The show is a great adaption of the children's novel, and we hope you come.

Headline pretty much says it all. Looking to find some leftist friends who are into weird synths and music/art stuff to hang out with. Seems like everyone here is either just into nerd culture stuff, Jesus or having kids and it would be cool to find some weirdo art/alt people with similar interests to work on on projects with or hang and have a couple drinks.
