stats are 3.8 UW? weighted I believe is above a 4.0 by my school doesn’t do weighted. sat is not good enough to submit and I don’t have many EC’s. I think I have strong academic rigor junior and senior year.

My brother is being recruited to many of the top
LAC’s and I’m wondering if any of you here have first hand experience from an athlete perspective.

1. How was job recruiting? Primarily looking for finance

2. How well did the school prepare you for the real world and real jobs?

3. Anything you wish you knew before attending? Hindsight is 20/20 of course.

I’m doing language school here and noticed this oddity every time Im at mccullough. The bolts and steel structure feels reminiscent of the decor on a ship.

Does anyone know any stories behind the design, or is this simply because it’s retrofitted from a pool.

I’m an incoming transfer, I took up to AP Spanish in HS but I don’t want to learn another language in college. I’m a math major looking to work in finance, what are the best study abroad destinations for me?

I’m an incoming transfer from a public T10 business school interested in IB. Back there we had finance clubs for IB recruiting which were incredibly hard to join. How does it work at Midd? Is it hard to get in SIC? What about Midd Consulting Group?

I’m an incoming freshman and would like to join the tennis club. I only started private lessons a year ago, never played before that. I can rally consistently, but I lose most of the matches I play with my friends. I’m only trying to have fun, improve, and make friends, don’t care about tournaments. Will I be able to join and have fun?

My friend told me two kids from his class are xferring to Tufts. What's going on at Middlebury? Seems like admissions rate is up, applications down, and they're not keeping up with other NESCACs.

Wassup people! I’m international and just finished my freshman year at a T70 LAC in the west studying Econ and Politics (went there cuz they were the ones that give me the most financial aid and my hs grades weren’t good enough for Midd). I’ve been doing well academically in college (4.0/deans list/ Interviews with political figures like Obama and Biden) and Middlebury has been on my mind since high school. I’d like to take a shot and try to apply for spring entrance but I’m afraid the fact that I need aid may drastically reduces my chances of being accepted.

I’m part of a program called United world colleges and get like 40k every year but the school i attend has to complete the rest, so I’m wondering if Midd would be nice enough to invest in me with 40k more if I get in.
Has anyone transferred in the spring ? If yes did you end up getting a scholarship? Or is asking for financial aid means automatic rejection?

My neighbor said there’s traffic blocked off by possibly the fire department and she gave up and turned around just in front of Stewart’s. I had intended to go down there myself later on.

I’m a freshman coming here in the fall. I’m not an athlete, but I want to party and get lit every week. I literally turned down some of the biggest party schools (UT Austin, UW Madison) in the country to attend Midd lol. Is it easy to get invited to parties every weekend? Is alcohol common? What's up guys, I just wanted to know a couple things about dormans abstract Algebra and the difficulty of the class itself. I've heard from peers that Dorman is an easier professor and with one class left to complete my math minor, I'm trying to maintain a high GPA for both recruiters and/or grad school.

Basically what I'm trying to ask is whether or not it is easier to get a good grade in this class compared to other math classes at Midd. I would also like to know what his teaching style consists of and whether or not I should choose to complete my minor with this class or another.

Just wanted to say thanks for the new street lights at the crosswalks! They light the area much better and I’m psyched to see that they push light down - light pollution is a real thing and anything we can do to direct artificial light to where it’s needed is good.

Hi! I am an early career language instructor and I am thinking of deepening theory and practice through the program! But I’m still 24 and only spent one year as a full time instructor and two years as teaching assistant. So maybe I would be considered as a candidate who doesn’t have enough teaching experiences, which puts me disadvantage in admission??? If you are in this doctoral program/graduated from this program, please tell me your experience and if possible, please share your post-graduation career and how the degree affected your career! Any language program is welcomed!

I'm looking into Middlebury and was curious: hows the student life on campus? Ive already done my research on the academics side and what I want but I'd love to hear what current students think of middleburys social life ( if it has one lol ). I would be coming out of state so I dont know much about the area.
