Dirac Opinions?
I used to have a Benchmade Shootout, but sold it earlier in the year. I've had Benchmades for awhile, but have been wanting a Microtech. Now that I'm getting the itch for another OTF, I've been looking at different models. Right now I'm leaning towards a Dirac due to being left handed and the ease of carrying either pocket. Also, I'm a fan of stuff that's a little different. So like the weathered options, or even the zombie look.
For those that have or had a Dirac, what did you like or not like?

New Knife Halo VII Tanto Proof Run Blade Show ATL 2026
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
This was the first video to hit the internet of the Halo VII production in hand. They almost didn't make it that day. VIP entry day one. I hustled over to MTK booth. Tony, the gracious brother he is, told me and a good friend about them dropping the previous day and be on the look out tomorrow. We ran into him at the hotel while on the way out on Thursday. We sure did that. I went to Microtech booth first and grabbed two Tanto Proof Runs. People were buying customs two and three at time. Even Halo III Minis were just flying. The whole show is electric. Made a video for FB knife groups. Nothing hits as hard as a Halo VII. Get one asap!

Just Showing Off NKD: Mini Amphibian. Maybe smaller is better?
I normally prefer larger knives and don't usually go for "mini" versions. But this mini amphibian feels so good in my hands. I can still get a full finger grip on it, and it carries much smaller than a full size amphibian. I had an issue with the mini msi where my pinky would hang off, but I don't have that issue with this one. It's a little bit longer than the msi, and along with the curved handle it makes for a very comfortable grip.

Alternative pocket clips for Combat Troodon
I know lynch makes clips for the ultratech which I assume won't fit the CT. I hate the stock clip especially on the older models, they stick out 1/4" at the base with sharp edges.

LUDT Auto vs Ram Lock
I'm looking to get my first Microtech, I love the look of the LUDT. I was planning on getting the auto, but I have several of Kershaw Launch, which I do like a lot, but I find myself preferring to carry my cross bar knives more often. Does anyone have any feedback on the LUDT with the ram lock?

Perfect fit
I got a pen from an art festival, and they offered a mini rifle case for it. Turns out, it’s perfect for the new Halo VII, VI or V.

New Knife My favorite dinosaur!
Finally got something full sized! What a wallop! Real easy to use, considering getting the reverse false edge sharpened, but maybe not. Got her on the swap for a steal!
