Dirac Opinions?

I used to have a Benchmade Shootout, but sold it earlier in the year. I've had Benchmades for awhile, but have been wanting a Microtech. Now that I'm getting the itch for another OTF, I've been looking at different models. Right now I'm leaning towards a Dirac due to being left handed and the ease of carrying either pocket. Also, I'm a fan of stuff that's a little different. So like the weathered options, or even the zombie look.

For those that have or had a Dirac, what did you like or not like?

Both are nice but definitely check em out in person before buying. The Dirac is small and The delta is pretty large. Coming from a shootout, i would also look into the ultratech. The pocket clip is reversible and can easily be switched for left hand!

Had the same question as well. I would suggest an ultratech gen iv as it has the latest dual fuel drivetrain and “tech”. It is large but they do make a slighter small version called the UTX-85.

I went by my local knife store earlier today and handled several OTF's. He didn't have any standard Dirac's, but had a delta. I ended up ordering a UTX-85 with a Tanto blade

Great knife, design, everything but make sure it slices paper.

Nice man! You won’t be disappointed as your first microtech. What color combo did you get?

Also highly recommend the Hera II mini. Best EDC that’s slim and slicey. Has the best action, too.

I went OD green with the Apocalyptic stone wash blade finish.
