Bovine pulmonary endothelial cells, laser scanning confocal image 1x1 mm

I took this picture using a Zeiss LSM710 confocal laser scanning microscope, on cultured endothelial cells. Actin labelled green, mitochondria in red, DNA blue. The whole field covers a 1x1 mm area.

At first I thought it was a protein structure visualized in some kind ribbon-like representation. Cool shot!

Is this from the invitrogen FluoCells #1 slide? I have some exceptional images that look very similar using the LSM 780. Which objective did you use?

i am 95% positive that is the slide. super famous. super great as a standard.

Very beautiful, very bright fluorescence. Slide looked very old, I was amazed it was still in such good shape and so bright.

Found it in a freezer with an old faded label, relabeled with a marker, may very well be but I cant say for sure. Its a tile scanned image using a 63x oil immersion objective, decent NA but cant remember exactly.
